When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Industrial City holds diverse industrial buildings: metal shops, machinery workshops, storage warehouses, and administrative offices tied to production, all across spacious grounds with high flat roofs. The intense indoor heat and severe sun exposure on metal roof surfaces demand powerful units and advanced thermal insulation. Copper runs may be long between buildings and warehouses, and outdoor units need ample mounting space and excellent ventilation to withstand high temperatures all day.

Industrial City is in south Jeddah, a planned industrial zone with factories, workshops, and large warehouses.

Most industrial buildings here have high flat roofs exposed to intense sun, with outdoor units mounted on them in wide-open spaces for ventilation and maintenance.

The AC setup in Industrial City

  1. 1

Split with long copper runs and heavy insulation

Scattered industrial buildings need long, heavily insulated copper runs designed for extreme heat exposure and distance.

  2. 2

Outdoor units on high roofs with protection

Units are mounted on elevated roofs with heat shields and sturdy concrete bases, leaving ample space for ventilation and routine maintenance.

  3. 3

    Protected metal drainage lines

Drain lines are fitted with extra insulation in sun-exposed areas, with correct pitch toward safe outlets away from equipment.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Industrial City

  1. 1

Identify indoor unit locations per section

Identify the main sections in the factory or warehouse and choose indoor unit locations in each away from dust and steam.

  2. 2

Choose the roof location for the outdoor unit

Inspect the roof and select a spot away from old water leaks and intense heat sources, confirming the roof is strong with good drainage.

  3. 3

Ensure installation equipment can reach the site

Verify that passages between machines allow the installation team, ladders, and tools to pass safely without disrupting production.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Heat in the workshops is extreme, is a split unit sufficient?

It depends on the workshop size and heat load. We measure the space and heat sources, then recommend the right unit capacity, which may be one unit or more.

The metal roof gets extremely hot, can the outdoor unit handle it?

We select units rated for extreme temperatures and mount them on elevated bases with a heat-reflecting shade that permits strong airflow around the condenser.

The copper run is very long between factory sections, does that affect efficiency?

Yes, long runs need thicker thermal insulation and precise refrigerant and oil calculations. We size the insulation based on length and ambient temperature.

The warehouse is crowded with equipment, where do you place the outdoor unit?

We mount it on the roof or a remote exterior wall away from production lines, with wide clearance around the condenser for free airflow and safe maintenance.
