Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Mushrifah
In Mushrifah, central Jeddah, split installation on modern buildings and blocks demands precise unit placement and proper line preparation for efficient cooling without moisture. Alrabih carefully selects positions and vacuums the refrigerant line before start-up to ensure trouble-free operation.
- Mueller copper
- Full vacuum
- Proper drain

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Mushrifah is a relatively new district of villas, shops and mid-rise residential blocks with ordered urban planning, and the streets are wide enough for easy team and equipment access. Split installation here is simpler than in older areas but still calls for placing the outdoor unit away from visible shop frontages and running copper aesthetically to suit modern architecture.
Mushrifah is a modern central district of Jeddah with ordered residential and commercial buildings and wide streets.
Most modern villas and apartment blocks in Mushrifah use single or dual split units, with outdoor units mounted on roofs or side walls away from front facades.
The AC setup in Mushrifah
- 1
Single split per villa or apartment
Most modern buildings in Mushrifah use one medium split covering main living areas.
- 2
Dual splits in larger villas
Larger villas use two indoor units on a single powerful outdoor unit to cover separate zones.
- 3
Insulated copper in plastic conduits
Lines run through neat plastic ducts from outdoor to indoor unit, protected from damage and weather.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Mushrifah
- 1
Choose the best position for the outdoor unit
Decide whether the unit goes on the roof or a side wall, away from the front and shop windows.
- 2
Verify the building's architectural guidelines
If in a modern block, check any colour or placement restrictions with management before the visit.
- 3
Ensure safe outdoor unit space
Roof or wall must safely support the unit with enough clearance around it for air circulation.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
I want the outdoor unit hidden from the street view, can you do this?
Yes, we mount it on a side wall or rear roof away from the front, or use an architectural screen that maintains airflow.
My villa is new with fresh paintwork, how do you drill for the copper without damaging it?
We drill precisely at a pre-marked point and fit a metal or plastic collar around the opening to protect paint and insulation.
Our new block has strict rules about external appearance, what do you suggest?
Check the rules first with management, and we will install the unit cleanly to meet the building's standards.
What is the best roof position for the outdoor unit on my villa?
We choose a spot away from other heat sources with unobstructed air intake from all sides and clear drainage.
