Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Abu Jaalah houses large warehouses, storage sheds and small to mid-size industrial facilities, all needing unified ventilation and cooling with robust metal duct. These buildings' vast spaces require precisely fabricated duct to ensure even air distribution and minimise loss. In Abu Jaalah's hot, dusty climate, sealed and protected duct preserves system efficiency over time.

Abu Jaalah lies in south Jeddah, a district of warehouses, storage sheds and small industrial facilities with very large floor areas.

Most warehouses and industrial facilities here require large-diameter duct and very long runs to cover the vast floor areas.

The AC setup in Abu Jaalah

  1. 1

    Very large-diameter duct

Vast warehouses need very large duct diameters to move large volumes of air without pressure loss.

  2. 2

    Long runs with multiple branches

The duct runs very long distances from the central unit with multiple branches distributing air across warehouse sections.

  3. 3

    Galvanized steel or thick aluminium

We use strong metals with thick gauge to resist high pressure and dusty conditions in large warehouses.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Abu Jaalah

  1. 1

    Provide complete engineering drawings

Send the full engineering drawings for the warehouse via WhatsApp so we calculate the duct lengths and required diameters.

  2. 2

Inform us of the main unit and outlet locations

Specify the location of the main compressor and air outlet points across the warehouse before the visit.

  3. 3

Arrange a safe unloading area nearby

Ensure there is a safe unloading area near the warehouse's main entrance for the fabricated duct to be offloaded from the truck.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

My warehouse is very large, can fabricated duct cover the whole space?

Yes, we calculate the entire space and design a duct system with large diameters and multiple branches to distribute air evenly across every corner of the warehouse.

The truck will carry the duct, can the roads and entrance accommodate it?

Abu Jaalah has wide roads and broad passages designed for warehouses. We coordinate with you on the closest unloading point near the facility before delivery.

Dust and extreme heat are severe here, do they damage the duct?

We use thick galvanized steel or aluminium duct that withstands harsh conditions and dust. Sealed duct minimises dust entry and preserves system efficiency.

I have the engineering drawings but the warehouse is still under construction, how do you measure?

We work from the engineering drawings directly and visit the site once construction is complete to take final measurements and verify the outlet locations before fabrication.
