Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Dahiyah is a new-growth area with government and private schools, administrative buildings and government offices requiring central AC that runs steady and highly reliable. Quality standards for government and educational projects are very strict, and workshop-fabricated duct ensures sealed joints, correct dimensions and performance precision that meets those standards without delay or on-site modifications that could compromise quality.

Al Dahiyah is in south Jeddah, an administrative and educational area with schools and government offices requiring high-spec AC systems.

Government and educational projects here use sealed galvanised duct to ensure no air leakage.

The AC setup in Al Dahiyah

  1. 1

Distributed duct networks for a school or administrative building

Schools and administrative buildings in Al Dahiyah need distributed duct networks across multiple floors and sections, precisely fabricated to feed classrooms, offices and facilities with effective balance.

  2. 2

    Corrosion-resistant galvanised duct

Galvanised sheet withstands high heat and humidity in Al Dahiyah year-round without deterioration or leakage.

  3. 3

Control valves and separate branches for each area

Each classroom or office gets its own duct branch with a control valve, allowing air adjustment to space needs and occupancy.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Dahiyah

  1. 1

Get complete engineering drawings from the supervising engineer

Obtain precise architectural and engineering drawings of all floors, sections, spaces and suspended ceilings from the supervising engineer.

  2. 2

Coordinate with school or government office management

Confirm measurement and install timing with school or office management to avoid clashing with school days or government working hours.

  3. 3

Prepare the site and obtain entry permits

Ensure safe installation space is available and obtain site access permits from the responsible authority before the install date.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

The school has strict government requirements for AC quality and installation, how do you ensure compliance?

We fabricate duct from high-grade galvanised sheet to exact specifications with fully sealed joints, and provide complete documentation of materials, dimensions and tests for submission to authorities.

The school has classrooms, offices, bathrooms and playgrounds, each needing different air volumes, how do you organize them?

We fabricate a distributed duct network with separate branches and takeoffs for each area, and control valves that allow air adjustment for classrooms and different needs.

Heat and humidity in Al Dahiyah are high, does this affect duct performance?

Duct from corrosion-resistant galvanised sheet withstands heat and humidity, sealed joints prevent any leakage from thermal expansion, maintaining performance year-round.

The project needs exact delivery dates, does prefabricated duct meet the schedule?

Yes, we measure site and drawings, fabricate duct quickly in the workshop, and deliver on the agreed date with no delays.
