When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Muhammadiyah is a medium-density residential district mixing villas, flats and smaller blocks with varied designs. Buildings do not match exactly, but most need standardised duct systems without the complexity of larger projects. Seasonal humidity spikes, especially in summer, and on-site cut ducts cause leaks and condensation. Workshop manufacturing with Foster sealing on every joint and uniform insulation thickness ensures high efficiency and cuts long-term maintenance costs.
Al Muhammadiyah is in north Jeddah, a medium-density residential zone with a mix of villas and varied apartment blocks.
Most buildings here use a simple or mid-range central duct system covering all main rooms from a single air handler.
The AC setup in Al Muhammadiyah
- 1
Simple central duct system for most flats
Small flats and villas here use a straightforward unified duct system linking one air handler to several main rooms without complications.
- 2
Medium-thick insulation for seasonal humidity
Seasonal humidity requires good insulation but not the extreme thickness needed for large coastal projects.
- 3
Numbered sections easy to install
Every section is clearly numbered and precisely dimensioned, making installation straightforward in a typical flat even for a basic installation crew.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Muhammadiyah
- 1
Provide project blueprint or clear photos
Share the flat or villa blueprint showing room positions and equipment, or send clear photos from all angles.
- 2
Confirm air handler and outlet positions
Clarify where the air handler will go (living room, kitchen) and where outlets will be placed in each room.
- 3
Ensure clear access to duct pathway
Check that the duct pathway between rooms is clear and safe, with no electrical or water pipes blocking the route before installation.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Do you manufacture ducts for every building type in Al Muhammadiyah?
Yes, we manufacture ducts for villas, flats and smaller blocks. We take project dimensions and make custom ducts to suit each building's needs.
Does seasonal humidity affect the ducts?
High summer humidity increases condensation risk on poorly insulated surfaces. Our thick insulation and tight sealing protect against condensation and leaks.
Is workshop manufacturing faster than on-site cutting?
Yes, standardised workshop manufacturing is much faster, and delivering numbered ready-to-install ducts speeds up installation and project completion.
What is the cost of duct manufacturing for a typical Al Muhammadiyah flat?
Cost depends on flat size, duct length and diameter. Send photos of the blueprint on WhatsApp for a precise quote.
