When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?

| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Murjan is an upscale coastal zone mixing high-end modern villas and large hotel and residential complexes. The architectural designs vary widely and spaces are generous, but exceptionally high marine humidity increases condensation risk on duct internal surfaces. On-site cutting leaves gaps and uneven insulation unable to protect ducts from humidity and sea salt, whereas workshop manufacturing allows thick, uniform insulation and tight Foster sealing on every joint to ensure long-term protection.
Al Murjan sits on Jeddah's north coast, an upscale zone of contemporary villas, hotels and large residential complexes.
Al Murjan projects range from single villas to hotel towers, most requiring complex central duct systems spanning multiple wings and floors.
The AC setup in Al Murjan
- 1
Complex multi-wing duct systems
Hotels and large complexes need long unified ducts linking multiple wings and floors from one or more air handlers.
- 2
Heavy insulation against sea salt and humidity
High marine humidity and salt require very thick insulation and tight sealing on all joints to ensure lasting protection.
- 3
Numbered sections with detailed drawings
Every section arrives numbered with a detailed drawing showing its position in the complete system to ease installation on large projects.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Murjan
- 1
Site visit to understand the architectural design
We visit to measure voids, obstacles, floors and wings so we manufacture ducts that match the actual design precisely.
- 2
Obtain detailed duct and pathway drawings
Share complete architectural drawings including planned ductways and known obstacles so we map the duct route accurately.
- 3
Confirm air handler and outlet positions
Pinpoint where each air handler will be placed and where outlets and returns go in each wing and floor so we manufacture with correct dimensions.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Projects here are architecturally complex, how do you handle them?
We visit the site to understand the design and architectural constraints, then manufacture custom ducts for each run with detailed drawings for every section.
Does sea salt affect the ducts and insulation?
Yes, sea salt and high humidity damage exposed ducts and thin insulation. Our thick insulation and tight sealing protect against salt corrosion and condensation for many years.
The villas and hotels here are completely different, can you manufacture for both?
Yes, we manufacture for individual villas with simple or mid-range systems, and scale to complex multi-floor hotel systems with the same precision and sealing.
How do you ensure no air leaks in large, complex systems?
Every section joint is sealed with Foster sealant, insulation is applied at uniform thickness across all surfaces, and we test connections before delivery to confirm tightness.
