Precision-made ductwork

AC duct manufacturing in Al Owaija

In Al Owaija, north-east Jeddah, where modern residential projects spread across open spaces, duct manufacturing becomes essential for extending central AC coverage to multiple spaced-out rooms. We fabricate air ducts in our workshop with high precision, seal every joint carefully, and deliver them numbered and ready for quick installation.

When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.

What sets this district apart

Al Owaija's modern projects spread across relatively open spaces, allowing long duct runs from one central unit to multiple spaced rooms. Despite the space, field-cutting ducts leaves many gaps along long runs, especially in the hot, humid climate. Full workshop fabrication ensures even insulation and efficient cool-air distribution to all rooms, cutting energy loss and complaints about uneven cooling.

Al Owaija is in north-east Jeddah, a district of modern residential projects spread across open expanses.

Most projects here use one or two central units serving multiple rooms through long ducts, requiring high fabrication and sealing precision.

The AC setup in Al Owaija

  1. 1

Long ducts distributed to multiple zones

Spread-out projects need long distribution ducts reaching multiple zones or sections, with calculated outlets per zone.

  2. 2

Insulated secondary ducts for distant rooms

Rooms far from the central unit need additionally insulated secondary ducts to minimise cold-air loss.

  3. 3

Dampers to balance air between zones

We install dampers on main branches to balance cool-air distribution between different zones as needed.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Owaija

  1. 1

Measure distances between rooms and zones

Measure horizontal and vertical distances between rooms and zones, especially from the central unit to the farthest room.

  2. 2

Specify central and outdoor unit locations

Specify central and outdoor unit locations to calculate duct length and the number of branches needed.

  3. 3

Have the project plan with room numbers

Send the project blueprint with each room and zone numbered and named before we start duct calculations.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

The distances between rooms are very long, do long ducts lose much cold air?

Full insulation and tight sealing from workshop fabrication minimise cold-air loss over long distances.

Can you make ducts that serve rooms spread across different areas of the project?

Yes, we fabricate distribution ducts with branches serving one or more zones, balancing cool air across all areas.

Does Al Owaija's heat and humidity affect the quality of fabricated ducts?

Our materials and insulation are chosen to withstand the hot, humid climate, and full sealing prevents internal moisture build-up.

How long does it take to make and deliver the ducts?

It depends on project size and duct count; send a blueprint photo on WhatsApp and we'll give you the expected delivery date.
