When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Quba's buildings are modern and spacious, mixing independent villas, low and mid-rise residential complexes and small commercial blocks, all needing metal ducts distributed horizontally across villa rooms or vertically across complex floors. Bespoke duct manufacturing suits the varied geometries of villas and blocks, reducing joints and leaks in Jeddah's humid coastal climate.

Quba lies in north-east Jeddah, a modern district of spacious low-rise buildings mixing independent villas and residential complexes.

Independent villas in Quba typically need metal ducts distributed horizontally across multiple rooms, while residential complexes need vertical distribution across 3 to 6 floors.

The AC setup in Quba

  1. 1

Horizontal ducts distributed across villa rooms

Independent villas in Quba need horizontal ducts running beneath ceilings or above floors to distribute cool air to each room.

  2. 2

Vertical trunks for multi-storey residential complexes

Residential complexes in Quba need tall vertical trunks passing through 3 to 6 floors with diameters tapering as air demand reduces upward.

  3. 3

    Numbered sections with tight-sealed flanges

Each duct section connects with a tight metal flange joint and full sealant to prevent leakage and condensation at junctions.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Quba

  1. 1

Send the complete architectural plan for the villa or complex

We need detailed drawings showing dimensions for each room, column and void locations, and windows to manufacture ducts matching spaces precisely.

  2. 2

Designate preferred duct routes under ceiling or above floor

In villas, ducts can run either under the ceiling (in the floor-ceiling cavity) or above the existing floor, tell us your preferred route.

  3. 3

Get the engineer's approval on trunk and branch locations

Before manufacturing, confirm the engineer has approved the main trunk route, secondary branch locations, and outdoor unit positions.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

How do you manufacture ducts for independent villas with different geometric shapes?

We take the villa's geometric plan, then manufacture ducts distributed horizontally across bedrooms, lounges and kitchens with varying dimensions based on room size.

Quba is a coastal area, does humidity affect metal ducts differently?

Yes, coastal humidity is higher, so we fully insulate ducts and seal all joints with Foster and strong moisture barrier before delivery.

Quba's residential complexes have varying heights, how do you distribute vertical ducts in them?

We manufacture vertical trunks with graduated diameters matching floor count, and connect each floor with separate risers from secondary branches to room units.

Can you manufacture ducts with curved or irregular shapes for modern villas?

Yes, we can fabricate ducts with curved and tapered shapes to match the architectural design, but we need precise drawings from the engineer showing all curves and dimensions.
