When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Sulaitah is a modern residential district with spacious villas and mid-rise apartment blocks that need central systems spanning multiple storeys. Site-cut ducts leave gaps that bleed cold air and let moisture condense inside in Jeddah's heat and humidity. Pre-made ducts sealed in the workshop ensure tight joints and even insulation throughout, cutting energy loss and keeping the system efficient.

Sulaitah sits in the northeast, a modern district of newer villas and blocks with planned streets and open layouts.

Central systems here typically need insulated ducts running dozens of metres to distribute air across multiple storeys.

The AC setup in Sulaitah

  1. 1

    Multi-storey central ducts

The villas and blocks here need long main ducts running from the outdoor unit down multiple storeys with branch runs to each room.

  2. 2

    Separate supply and return systems

Most projects need separate supply and return ducts, both sealed and insulated to prevent any air leakage.

  3. 3

    Plenum units with side-branch distribution

Main ducts often end in a central plenum, from which side branches distribute air to different rooms.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Sulaitah

  1. 1

Bring the complete villa or building plans

Before we visit, send us the floor and space plans so we can understand the system layout and duct runs needed.

  2. 2

Confirm where the outdoor and indoor units go

Confirm where the outdoor unit will mount (roof or terrace) and where the indoor unit or plenum sits before the visit.

  3. 3

Arrange space for storing numbered duct sections

The ducts arrive numbered and ready, so ensure safe storage space on site before the team begins installation.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

How is a factory-made duct different from cutting it on site?

Workshop-made ducts have every seam sealed with Foster sealant and fully insulated before arrival, whereas site cutting leaves leaks that bleed cold air and moisture. The difference shows in your electricity bills and indoor comfort.

Are the numbered duct sections easy to install on site?

Yes, each section is pre-numbered and dimensioned, so the team's installation is fast and exact with no extra cutting or fitting on site.

Sulaitah gets very hot and humid, is the insulation adequate?

Full insulation on the ducts stops moisture condensing on the outer surfaces and keeps the air cold across long runs, even in intense heat.

The villas here have complex architectural spaces, can you make custom ducts?

Yes, we take complete project measurements and manufacture supply and return ducts to fit your space layout across storeys, including angled and curved sections.
