When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Qaws is a commercial, hospitality and medical district with wide-span buildings and high ceilings, requiring large, high-precision ductwork. The systems here are powerful and central, serving hundreds of rooms and offices, and on-site cutting causes leaks that waste energy and affect all units' performance. Workshop-made, tightly sealed and fully insulated ducts maintain uniform air pressure and temperature across all zones and cut electricity use significantly.
Al Qaws sits in east Jeddah, a commercial, hospitality and medical district of wide-span buildings with high ceilings.
Most commercial and hospitality projects here run multiple central cooling units with complex duct networks and advanced air distribution.
The AC setup in Al Qaws
- 1
Multi-branch duct network from powerful central units
Shopping centres, hotels and hospitals need multiple powerful central units, with complex duct networks serving hundreds of rooms and departments.
- 2
Insulated ducts for high efficiency and no cool loss
In high ceilings and long passages, full insulation keeps cool air steady over distance and cuts electricity costs.
- 3
Heavy-duty joints sealed precisely for high pressure
Every joint is sealed with Foster to high engineering precision and tested to withstand high pressures from powerful units with zero leakage.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
My hospital and hotel needs precise, complex ducting, how do you approach this?
We work from precise engineering drawings and medical or hospitality specs, manufacturing ducts in numbered, sealed, fully insulated sections that arrive site-ready for immediate installation.
Our shopping centre is open-plan and ceilings are very high, how do you deliver ducts?
We make ducts in sections sized for large spans and high ceilings, with robust fittings for safe suspension and support overhead.
Intense humidity and heat here cause duct issues, how do you protect them?
We wrap all ducts in thick insulation and seal every gap with Foster, keeping outer surfaces warm and preventing condensation or mould even in intense humidity.
Can manufactured ducts handle the high loads and pressures in powerful systems?
We make ducts from robust materials with sufficient wall thickness to withstand high air pressure from powerful central units, and test all joints to confirm no air leakage.
