When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Rawasi is an industrial and commercial zone with large warehouses, light factories and distribution hubs, each needing high-capacity central AC to cover vast interior spaces. On-site duct cutting on ceilings or walls leaves gaps that rapidly bleed cold air on startup, sharply raising energy use. Pre-manufacture with sealing and full insulation cuts cold loss significantly, essential for warehouses needing set storage temperatures. Numbered delivery speeds ceiling installation without delaying commissioning.

Al Rawasi lies in east Jeddah, an industrial and commercial zone specialised in warehouses, light factories and large distribution hubs.

Warehouses and factories in Al Rawasi use very high-capacity central AC units with long horizontal duct runs at high ceilings.

The AC setup in Al Rawasi

  1. 1

Horizontal duct network at high ceilings

Warehouses in Al Rawasi have very high ceilings, so we manufacture long insulated and sealed horizontal ducts to cover vast areas.

  2. 2

Separate duct branches for warehouse sections

Large warehouses divide into sections at different temperatures, so we make separate branches per section with dampers for precise control.

  3. 3

    Calculated diffusers for vast areas

Vast interiors need many air diffusers and slots, we calculate number and placement precisely based on cooling load.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Rawasi

  1. 1

Provide warehouse plan, areas and sections

Warehouse plan with areas, sections required and central unit location is essential to calculate ducts and diffusers accurately.

  2. 2

Confirm ceiling-lift capability for duct sections

Large sections may need a truck crane or scaffold, confirm lifting space and equipment are available before installation day.

  3. 3

    Schedule installation with factory management

Installation may need operations stopped or production delayed, agree dates with management before starting.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Warehouses need steady cold, how do you prevent air leaks from ducts?

We seal every duct joint with Foster and fully insulate, cutting leakage to under 5 per cent of airflow, essential for stock preservation.

Interiors are huge, how do you distribute air evenly?

We make a duct network with multiple branches and calculated air diffusers based on area and cooling load, ensuring even distribution throughout.

High ceilings and intense heat, can the ducts withstand this?

We use heat-resistant recycled materials with full insulation, and tight sealing prevents expansion and contraction affecting performance.

The factory starts production soon, how quickly can you install?

Ducts arrive numbered and ready for immediate ceiling mounting, no on-site cutting or assembly needed, speeding installation by at least a week.
