When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Sharqiyah is a mixed district with tall residential blocks, hotels, medical centres and specialist clinics, all needing precisely controlled AC systems with sealed reliable ducts. Medical centres and clinics require high health standards and precise air quality and humidity control, and hand-cut ducts leave gaps and leaks that reduce performance. Pre-manufactured, fully sealed and insulated ducts deliver better control of cleanliness, humidity and cooling.

Al Sharqiyah lies in north-east Jeddah, a mixed district with tall residential blocks, hotels and specialist medical centres.

Most medical and hotel projects in Al Sharqiyah need central AC systems with insulated, tightly sealed ducts to maintain high health standards and air quality.

The AC setup in Al Sharqiyah

  1. 1

Precision-controlled systems with insulated sealed ducts

Medical centres and hotels need systems with insulated, tightly sealed ducts to ensure precise control of air quality, humidity and temperature.

  2. 2

    Sound and thermal insulation integrated

Ducts are insulated with integrated layers providing both thermal and sound insulation, reducing noise and heat loss in large central systems.

  3. 3

Clean and hygienic ducts from the workshop

Ducts are manufactured and sealed in a controlled clean environment, ensuring they arrive on site clean and free of contaminants.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Our medical centre requires high health standards, how do you ensure clean ducts?

Ducts manufactured in our workshop are clean and dust-free before installation, and tight sealing stops contaminants entering from the environment.

Our hotel needs precise control of humidity and temperature, do ducts help with this?

Yes, full insulation and tight sealing cut cooling loss and excess humidity, allowing better and more precise control of temperature and humidity levels.

Heat and humidity in Al Sharqiyah are very high, does this affect air quality in the ducts?

Full insulation and sealing protect cold air from external humidity contamination and reduce mould and pollutant growth inside the ducts.

Suspended ceilings with soundproofing are already installed, how do you make the ducts?

We review available spaces and existing insulation before manufacturing, and design ducts that fit existing gaps without needing to remove or modify ceilings.
