When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.
Ask on WhatsAppRunning a commercial fit-out that needs duct runs
We take your project drawings and produce numbered sections in batches matched to your site schedule, so the hanging crew is never waiting on supply.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Tha'alibah is a dense industrial and commercial zone with large warehouses, factories and hotels, where vast open spaces need balanced central AC distributing cold air evenly. Hand-cut ducts on site cannot ensure even, efficient distribution across large spans and heights, and cold air loss pushes running costs up. Workshop-made ducts arrive engineered to specification, with tight seams and thick insulation, keeping efficiency high even in vast spaces and tall floors.
Al Tha'alibah is in south Jeddah, an industrial and commercial zone with large warehouses, factories and hotels.
Most industrial and hotel projects here use large central AC units with complex horizontal and vertical ductwork.
The AC setup in Al Tha'alibah
- 1
Main horizontal trunk with multiple branches
Vast spaces need a long horizontal main trunk running through ceiling or floor with separate branches to warehouse or factory sections.
- 2
Vertical ducts for high-ceiling areas
High ceiling areas need vertical ducts branching from the main trunk, with intermediate plenums distributing air evenly.
- 3
Central return system with large ducts
Return ducts collect warm air from across the vast space and feed it back to the unit, fully insulated to reduce loss.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Tha'alibah
- 1
Send engineering plan and core dimensions
Send the factory or warehouse layout with actual length, width and height, plus locations of machinery or dividers that may affect duct routing.
- 2
Identify unit mounting points and available spaces
Show where main units will mount and which ceiling or floor spaces can take large ducts without blocking production.
- 3
Coordinate with your engineering team
Schedule our visit with your engineer to review plans and spaces, avoiding conflicts between the AC system and current design.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Our warehouse is vast, can a single duct cool it evenly?
A vast warehouse may need one main duct with multiple branches and zones, or two or more systems depending on length, width and height. We visit to measure actual dimensions and estimate optimal distribution before we fabricate.
Our factory has very high ceilings, do ducts reach the top efficiently?
Precisely fabricated, fully insulated ducts maintain temperature even at great heights. Sealed seams prevent air loss that would reduce efficiency at the top.
Al Tha'alibah is extremely hot, do insulated ducts protect against air temperature rise?
Thick insulation on the ducts greatly reduces the impact of intense external heat on the cold air inside, cutting heat loss significantly in hot industrial areas.
Our system is new and warehouse layout might change later, can ducts be expanded?
Ducts made in numbered sections can have branches or extensions added later if spaces expand, but this depends on available ceiling and floor space. We can design the system allowing for future growth if you ask.
