When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Harrah is a modern residential area with wide-open roofs and spacious interiors, ideal for unified central AC covering multiple storeys or many rooms in a single villa. Workshop manufacture rather than on-site cutting ensures high distribution efficiency and no cold loss from leaks, and full fibreglass insulation protects against the moisture condensation that Jeddah's humidity causes on ceilings and duct inner surfaces, especially in newly built villas and blocks.

Al Harrah is in north-east Jeddah, a modern residential district with open roofs and spacious villas and blocks.

New villas and blocks in Al Harrah use central AC with unified ducts beneath roofs or between storeys, requiring precise measurement and full insulation from manufacture.

The AC setup in Al Harrah

  1. 1

    Unified ducts beneath wide roofs

Modern villas and blocks in Al Harrah have wide roofs that allow straightforward unified duct runs from the unit to all storeys and rooms.

  2. 2

Insulated branches per storey and zone

Main unified trunks branch into insulated secondary ducts for each storey and zone, ensuring even airflow and easy future maintenance.

  3. 3

Heavy-duty sections with strong connection points

Numbered sections are thick and durable, with sturdy insulated connection points to support the weight of long runs beneath open roofs.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Harrah

  1. 1

Provide precise plans for each storey

Before measurement, send clear plans for each storey showing room count, distances, heights, and the inter-storey void available for ducts.

  2. 2

Confirm safe access to roof and voids

Ensure the roof, inter-storey voids, and unit location are safely accessible to our team for initial measurement and later installation.

  3. 3

Reserve central staging and delivery spot

Reserve a safe central spot near stairs or lifts for us to deliver and assemble the numbered sections before installation on roofs and storeys.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Our villa is large and has several storeys; can you make ducts for all floors from one unit?

Yes, we make unified trunks from the unit that branch to each storey and zone, balancing pressure and airflow across all branches so every room gets the right cold air.

Al Harrah's wide roofs provide space for ducts; does this make installation easier?

Yes, the wide open roofs allow easy unified runs, and we can extend ducts efficiently without complex bends or tight splits.

How do you protect new ducts from inter-storey condensation in Jeddah's humidity?

We wrap every duct with fibreglass insulation at the workshop before delivery, which stops condensation on the duct's inner surface and ceiling around it for the building's lifetime.

Years later, when you need to clean or modify the ducts, do the numbered sections make maintenance easier?

Yes, the numbered sections precisely sealed at the workshop can be disconnected and cleaned easily later, and if you need to modify a section or add a branch, the numbering and documentation show the original design.
