Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

What sets this district apart

Al Sanabel is a bustling commercial district with diverse shops, restaurants, small offices and car service centres, some tightly spaced and others with high ceilings. Pre-fabricated duct allows even air distribution without on-site cutting and modification, and flexibility in shape and size offers a precise solution for each shop and restaurant type. Ready delivery speeds installation without disrupting business.

Al Sanabel in south Jeddah is a bustling commercial district with shops, restaurants, small offices and service centres.

Most shops and restaurants here use separate rectangular duct or multiple small branches depending on shop size.

The AC setup in Al Sanabel

  1. 1

    Separate rectangular duct per shop

Small and medium shops use a single simple rectangular duct distributing air through the limited space.

  2. 2

Multiple duct branches for larger restaurants

Large restaurants need multiple duct branches from a central unit for even distribution across seating and kitchen.

  3. 3

    Installation standards per municipal codes

Duct is installed to safety and health standards for shops and restaurants, and the team respects this in design.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Sanabel

  1. 1

Send a photo or sketch of shop layout

A photo or simple sketch of the shop space and ceiling helps us design the duct before the visit.

  2. 2

Specify indoor and outdoor unit locations

Tell us where the indoor and outdoor units will go, so we calculate duct length and route precisely.

  3. 3

Coordinate visit time with shop owner

Arrange the visit with the shop owner outside peak hours so we do not disrupt shop or restaurant operations.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

My shop is small, does pre-fabricated duct suit it?

Yes, we fabricate duct suitable for any shop size, from simple small branches to larger networks for spacious restaurants.

My shop opens to the street, how do you install duct?

We mount duct through the ceiling or interior walls so it does not obstruct the shop's appearance or customer entry.

The restaurant runs all day, do you need to close it?

Not necessarily, we can install duct outside peak hours or during slower customer periods.

Does duct resist the heat from restaurant ovens?

Fabricated duct stays clear of direct heat sources, and if near an oven we add thermal insulation.
