Dedicated duct workshop

Duct fabrication in Al Fadilah

In Al Fadilah south of Jeddah, hospitals and medical centres depend on precise, reliable AC ductwork, yet site-cut duct cannot meet the health and technical standards required. We fabricate duct to high precision in our workshop, so it arrives ready to install quickly and with minimal air loss.

Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

  • Renovating home AC and need fittings to match old duct

We measure the existing ductwork in your home and fabricate the branches, transitions and elbows needed to match the original duct without replacing the whole network.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Fadilah houses small and large clinics and hospitals, operating theatres and specialist wards needing precise control of temperature, humidity and airflow. Medical-centre ductwork is highly complex, with separate sections per department, multi-stage filters and strict air-quality and cleanliness standards. Workshop fabrication delivers high dimensional accuracy, uses clean dust-free metals and reduces contamination risk compared to on-site cutting, a critical factor in healthcare settings.

Al Fadilah sits south of Jeddah and houses multiple clinics and hospitals needing complex, dependable AC systems.

Hospital networks in Al Fadilah use clean-standard duct with separate branches per department and precision outlets for each operating theatre and clinic.

The AC setup in Al Fadilah

  1. 1

Separate branches for each medical department

Each medical department (surgery, care, clinics) needs its own duct branch to allow independent air and temperature control.

  2. 2

Clean standard duct with no contamination

Duct is fabricated in a clean, enclosed workshop and covered during transport, ensuring it arrives at the hospital uncontaminated and dust-free.

  3. 3

    Individual dampers for airflow control

We install individual dampers at each department inlet, allowing precise control of airflow volume and temperature per medical section.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Fadilah

  1. 1

    Get complete engineering drawings

Provide complete engineering drawings for every hospital section showing rooms, passages, ceilings and outlet locations, so we fabricate to medical standards.

  2. 2

Specify air quality and medical standards

Tell us the air-quality standards required (particulate count, humidity ratio, ventilation rate) per section, so duct supports them.

  3. 3

    Confirm clean, safe delivery area

Ensure the hospital unloading area is clean and secure, away from construction sites and dust, to protect duct from contamination before installation.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Air quality and cleanliness are critical, how do you ensure duct is clean?

We fabricate duct in a clean, enclosed workshop, metals are cleaned before forming, and sections are covered during transport, arriving at the hospital dust-free.

Different medical departments need different temperatures, does duct allow that control?

We fabricate separate branches for each department with individual dampers allowing independent control of airflow and temperature per section.

Humidity in Jeddah is high, does it affect duct and filters?

We use G90 and aluminium duct resistant to moisture, and filters are mounted in separate compartments with good ventilation to prevent mould accumulation.

Installation and testing take time, how much time does pre-fabrication save?

Pre-fabricated duct arrives ready for immediate installation, cutting weeks of on-site cutting, adjustment and testing, critical for hospitals that cannot tolerate delays.
