Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Rabwah's buildings are relatively modern with generous floor plans, and the villas and residential towers need complex ductwork running through multiple storeys and wings. Measuring the site precisely then fabricating in the workshop ensures tight joints and smooth transitions between straight duct and bends, rather than cutting on site where dimensions and fit suffer. This saves installation time and cuts the risk of air leaks across multiple units and zones.

Al Rabwah, in central Jeddah, is a district of modern apartment buildings and villa complexes with a regular layout.

Most modern villas and apartment blocks here use central AC systems with complex ductwork spanning multiple floors and wings.

The AC setup in Al Rabwah

  1. 1

    Complex multi-floor ductwork networks

Modern villas and apartment blocks in Al Rabwah need multi-floor ductwork with numerous transitions and bends between storeys and different wings.

  2. 2

Straight duct with bends and offsets

Modern designs call for straight duct in corridors with smooth bends and precise offsets to clear walls and structural columns.

  3. 3

Multiple takeoffs from the main duct

Each floor or wing needs its own takeoff from the main ductwork, which demands high fabrication precision.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Rabwah

  1. 1

Bring floor plans or site measurements

If you have architectural drawings, bring them so we can measure precisely and fabricate duct to exact dimensions.

  2. 2

Point out duct routes and available spaces

During measuring, show us the corridors, ceilings and available spaces for running duct between floors and wings.

  3. 3

Confirm delivery access for the fabricated duct

The fabricated duct may come in long sections, so ensure the entrance and corridors allow easy transport to the site.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you fabricate duct for a large villa with multiple wings?

Yes, we measure the entire villa and fabricate all the duct including transitions, bends and joints in the workshop, so it arrives ready to install as a complete system.

The flats in our building are close together, how does the duct stay airtight?

We fabricate the joints with high precision in the workshop and use proper sealing to fit the duct type, so every connection holds tight and minimises air leakage between units.

Does fabricated duct stand up to the humidity and heat in central Jeddah?

We use G90 galvanised or aluminium duct, both of which resist humidity and heat well in the coastal climate.

How long does duct fabrication take before installation?

The timeline depends on the network size; we measure on site and then fabricate to exact dimensions.
