Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?
- 1
A contractor with project-specific sizes
Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.
- 2
Fittings too awkward to cut on site
Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.
- 3
Extending or renovating an existing duct network
You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.
Who it's for
Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes
We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

What the fabrication covers
- Site measure or drawings
- G90 or aluminium duct
- Elbows transitions and takeoffs
- Tight seams to SMACNA
- Labelled sections ready to hang
How we work
How we work
- 1
Take measurements
A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.
- 2
Fabricate sections and fittings
We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.
- 3
Label and prepare for delivery
We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.
- 4
Deliver to site
We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.
Workshop fabrication or site cutting?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensional accuracy | Workshop machines, tight dims | Hand variation on site |
| Complex fittings | Correct elbows and transitions | Distorted, leaking air |
| Seam quality | Tight lock, low leakage | Gaps weaken pressure |
| Site schedule | Arrives ready to hang | Extra time and site noise |
| Salt and humidity | Aluminium where site demands | One sheet regardless |

What sets this district apart
Al Yaqoot is a relatively modern district with spacious residential buildings and villas, and many new residential projects here need a central AC system running across multiple floors and wings. Our workshop fabrication allows us to cut duct to precise dimensions for each villa or flat, with complex bends and transitions between rooms and hallways, reducing waste and speeding on-site installation.
Al Yaqoot lies in north Jeddah, a modern development area of spacious villas and apartment blocks.
Most central AC systems in Al Yaqoot need non-standard duct sizes because villas and flats here are laid out differently.
The AC setup in Al Yaqoot
- 1
Complex multi-storey rectangular duct
Villas and blocks in Al Yaqoot need main duct with multiple branches spreading across floors, which we fabricate with precise engineering detail.
- 2
Non-standard transitions and bends
Different room layouts require custom bends and transitions between hallways and wings, which site cutting cannot achieve.
- 3
Enhanced G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet
We choose sheet type based on the project's ventilation and heat needs, with the option to add thermal insulation layers.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Yaqoot
- 1
Provide architectural drawings or photos
Send us architectural plans if available, or detailed photos of the site and rooms to help with measurement before our visit.
- 2
Tell us where the outdoor unit will be
Specify the outdoor unit location and the expected main duct run distance, since duct length affects fabrication.
- 3
Confirm storage and access space
Fabricated duct sections are bulky, confirm you have storage space and that hallways and doorways allow them to be brought into the villa.

FAQ
Questions about Duct fabrication
Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?
Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.
What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?
G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.
Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?
Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.
How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?
Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.
Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?
Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.
My new villa needs a central duct system, how do you measure it?
We visit the site or take your architectural drawings, measure all distances and angles precisely, then fabricate in our workshop to ensure a perfect fit.
My villa has different room shapes, can the duct fit every corner?
Yes, we fabricate custom transitions and bends to match each room shape and hallway route, with every piece tailored to your actual measurements.
Al Yaqoot gets very hot in summer, does that affect duct quality?
We use G90 galvanised or aluminium sheet that withstands high heat, and workshop fabrication allows us to add insulation if needed to reduce heat loss.
Does my villa's electrical capacity matter for the duct work?
The duct itself needs no power, but we ensure the outdoor unit and indoor fans are connected to separate, safe electrical circuits.
