Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Zahra is a modern western district with residential towers, hotels and medical complexes whose recent construction allows complex central AC systems with multiple-bend duct and distribution vents across many floors. The location near the coast means high humidity and a salty environment, so duct fabricated from sturdy galvanized material preserves structural integrity against rust and corrosion over time.

Al Zahra sits in west Jeddah near the coast, a modern district with residential buildings, hotels and medical clinics.

Central ductwork systems in Al Zahra require sturdy galvanized materials to withstand coastal humidity and salt exposure.

The AC setup in Al Zahra

  1. 1

Complex central duct with multiple bends and multi-floor distribution

Hotel and residential tower projects in Al Zahra need complex duct with multiple bends and distribution vents across several floors to cover all spaces.

  2. 2

Sturdy galvanized material against coastal salt exposure

G90 galvanized duct resists humidity and salt spray over the long term, extending system life in the coastal environment.

  3. 3

Offsets and direction changes to avoid architectural obstacles

Duct is designed with precise offsets to avoid columns, beams and other pipes running through upper floors.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Zahra

  1. 1

Obtain the full mechanical system drawings

Provide complete engineering drawings for the system so we can fabricate duct to high precision per the design.

  2. 2

Designate a safe access point for equipment and fabricated duct

Pick a safe area on site for the team to move equipment and fabricated duct to the installation point.

  3. 3

Confirm movement through corridors and doorways is possible

Check that duct dimensions will fit through entry doors and corridors before fabrication to avoid any delays.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Coastal humidity is intense here, does galvanized duct last?

Yes, G90 galvanized sheet is specifically designed to withstand humidity and salt spray, making it the ideal choice for coastal areas to ensure system longevity.

Our hotel project needs complex multi-bend duct, how long will the site visit and estimate take?

We take full measurements and complex details and provide a written quote on the visit, or request engineering drawings beforehand for a precise advance estimate.

Do you transport fabricated duct to site under protection?

Yes, we transport duct in protective wrapping so it arrives clean and safe, ready for immediate installation.

The site is close to the sea, is aluminium better than galvanized here?

Both resist salt spray, but galvanized is stronger, more economical and more commonly used in large coastal projects. Aluminium is lighter if there are weight constraints.
