Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

North Corniche buildings are tall and contemporary, and many are hotels and residential towers requiring complex central AC systems with intricate fittings. Hand-cut duct on site cannot hold the precise dimensions or deliver complex details like elbows, offsets and takeoffs properly, whereas we fabricate it in the workshop to engineering specifications from site drawings, arriving ready for direct installation.

The North Corniche is a modern coastal strip facing the Red Sea, home to tall residential towers and upscale hotels with complex central AC systems.

Most projects here call for intricate round or rectangular duct with multiple elbows and offsets to distribute air across the floors.

The AC setup in North Corniche

  1. 1

    Complex rectangular duct with elbows

Most Corniche hotels and towers need rectangular duct with elbows and offsets to fit narrow corridors and architectural voids.

  2. 2

    Round duct for horizontal distribution

Modern tower systems often use round duct for horizontal distribution from a single central unit across multiple floors.

  3. 3

    Precise offsets and takeoffs

Takeoffs and offsets must maintain air pressure precisely, and workshop fabrication ensures joints are airtight.

Before the visit

Before our visit in North Corniche

  1. 1

Provide engineering drawings or site survey

Send us the system drawings or schedule a site survey so we can take exact measurements before fabrication begins.

  2. 2

Tell us size and weight constraints

Confirm the width of corridors, doorways and lift capacity so the duct sections can be moved and raised through the building easily.

  3. 3

    Confirm delivery and offloading time

Agree the delivery date with us and notify the site in advance of the truck arrival and offloading location to avoid bottlenecks.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Do you fabricate duct for North Corniche hotels?

Yes, we fabricate complex duct systems for North Corniche hotels and towers from engineering drawings and site measurements.

What lengths of fabricated duct can you deliver to a high-rise site?

We make lengths to suit the delivery vehicle and site lift capacity, and agree on delivery and installation logistics before fabrication to keep the schedule on track.

Does coastal humidity affect your galvanized sheet duct on the Corniche?

We use high-grade G90 galvanized sheet that resists coastal humidity, and aluminium is a stronger alternative against salt air.

How do you handle long duct runs in tall residential towers?

We make sections easy to carry and install vertically, with tight joints that prevent air leakage between floors.
