Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Tabah is an emerging residential district with mid-rise apartment blocks, hotels and clinics, most of whose modern projects are designed with complex central AC systems needing duct with multiple direction changes and distribution vents across many floors. Site-cut duct cannot meet the required precision or produce complex fittings, so workshop fabrication from G90 galvanized or aluminium sheet delivers high quality and strict dimensional compliance.

Tabah sits in new north Jeddah, a modern building area with residential towers, hotels and advanced commercial projects.

Central AC systems in modern Tabah projects need complex ductwork with multiple bends and distribution vents across many floors.

The AC setup in Tabah

  1. 1

Complex central duct with bends and distribution vents

Modern Tabah projects require complex duct with multiple bends and distribution vents across many floors to serve residential towers and hotels.

  2. 2

Direction changes and offsets to avoid architectural obstacles

Duct requires precise offsets to avoid columns, beams and other pipes running through the upper floors.

  3. 3

Round and rectangular sections by distribution layout

Main trunk lines are typically round for efficiency, with branches distributing via flatter rectangular ducts that fit into suspended ceilings.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Tabah

  1. 1

Obtain the architectural and mechanical drawings

Share the full system drawings with us before the visit to ensure accurate measurements and complex details.

  2. 2

Designate a loading and unloading area on site

Pick a safe area near the site where the team can load and unload the fabricated duct and equipment.

  3. 3

Confirm duct can pass through entry points and corridors

Check that duct dimensions will fit through entry doors and corridors before fabrication, and tell us the tightest point during the visit.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Does workshop-fabricated duct differ from site-cut duct?

Yes, workshop-fabricated duct to precise measurements holds strict dimensions and produces complex fittings accurately, whereas site-cut duct cannot achieve this precision and causes air leakage.

Our hotel project needs duct with many bends, how long does fabrication take?

Time depends on the number of vents, bends and total duct length. Share the drawings or site measurements with us on WhatsApp for an accurate estimate.

Site dust and debris can foul the duct during installation, how do you protect it?

Pre-fabricated duct is transported in protective wrapping and sealed at the ends until final installation to keep dust out.

Do you favour aluminium or G90 galvanized sheet for modern projects?

Both are available to suit project requirements and budget. G90 galvanized is stronger and more economical, whilst aluminium is lighter and easier to install at height.
