When your commercial fridge needs attention

  1. 1

    Temperature creeping up slowly

The fridge runs but no longer reaches its old temperature. In Jeddah's hot kitchens, grease builds on the condenser quickly, robbing it of the ability to shed heat and straining the compressor. We check the blockage on site and decide what is needed.

  2. 2

    Condenser fan stopped or slowed

The condenser fan draws air across the condensing coil. When it stops or slows, heat rises fast and the compressor cuts out on its thermal protector. We test the motor and the run capacitor and replace what has failed as part of the repair.

  3. 3

    Door gasket not sealing properly

A cracked or burned gasket lets warm, humid kitchen air in constantly. The result is a compressor that never rests, condensation forming inside the cabinet and an unstable temperature. We measure the existing gasket and replace it with the right size for that door.

What sets this district apart

Al Wafa is a densely residential area with many small shops, cafés and restaurants mainly around main streets and local markets. Buildings mix older and newer, and outdoor space is limited due to residential density, so outdoor units for fridges are mounted on narrow facades or small back yards. Our team focuses on quick diagnosis and effective repair to minimise downtime and protect shop inventory.

Al Wafa is in eastern Jeddah, a densely residential zone with small shops and cafés around local markets.

Small shops and cafés here use medium-sized display fridges or standard kitchen units, with condensers often mounted on external walls or in tight yards.

FAQ

Questions about Commercial fridge service

My kitchen fridge runs all the time but does not cool enough. What is wrong?

In most cases the condenser is blocked with grease and dust, which is common in Jeddah kitchens where steam and smoke build up fast. A worn door gasket letting warm kitchen air in constantly is another likely cause. We check both on site and tell you which is the problem, or whether both need attention.

Do you service prep counters and under-counter fridges as well?

Yes, our service covers upright fridges, prep counters, under-counter units and bottle coolers in restaurants, bakeries and groceries. We ask for the model in advance so the technician arrives with the right tools and parts for that unit's size and type.

How does Jeddah's humidity affect kitchen fridges?

Warm, humid air enters through any worn gasket and condenses inside the cabinet, raising the load on the compressor and speeding gasket wear. Salt in Jeddah's sea air also corrodes condenser parts over time. That is why we check gaskets and the condenser condition carefully at every service visit.

Can the fridge be repaired without shutting the kitchen down?

For most repairs, yes. Cleaning the condenser and replacing a fan motor or gasket takes the fridge out of service for a short time only. If the repair needs the refrigerant recovered and recharged we tell you the expected time beforehand so you can prepare your stock.

Why does water keep collecting inside my kitchen fridge?

The most common cause is a worn door gasket letting humid kitchen air in, which then condenses on the walls and shelves. A blocked defrost drain at the base of the unit is another frequent cause. We check the gaskets and the drain line on site and identify the problem before starting any repair.

If the fridge breaks, how long does repair take?

We diagnose the issue quickly and complete simple repairs in one visit where possible, but complex faults may need more time, which we assess after inspection.

A small café cannot afford fridge downtime, can you work fast?

Yes, we focus on quick diagnosis and efficient repair to minimise downtime, and we schedule the visit during the café's quiet hours.

A small fridge does not need complex maintenance, what is the cost?

Cost depends on the fault type and the fridge size and model. Send a photo on WhatsApp so we assess it accurately and send the quote before starting.

I need regular maintenance to prevent sudden breakdowns, do you offer monthly contracts?

Yes, we offer regular maintenance contracts tailored to the shop's needs, based on inspection and agreeing suitable monthly visits.
