When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.

What sets this district apart
Al Naseem is a residential neighbourhood with a mid-width commercial street, and buildings mix housing with small shops at moderate height. Shops here are less crowded than the main drag but face Jeddah's concentrated heat and coastal humidity. Streets are wider than Mushrifah, easing access and installation, but proximity to homes makes noise and vibration very sensitive. Drainage needs care because it can affect neighbouring gardens or residential pavements.
Al Naseem is in central Jeddah, a residential neighbourhood with a mid-size commercial street and mixed shop, residential buildings.
Most shops in Al Naseem use separate split units, with outdoor units mounted on side walls or small roofs away from residential windows.
The AC setup in Al Naseem
- 1
Compact split for tight, low-ceiling shops
The compact indoor unit mounts without long reach arms, and the outdoor sits on a side wall away from residential windows.
- 2
Compact central system with slim ducts
Some larger shops in Al Naseem can accommodate a compact central system with slim ducts in low ceilings.
- 3
Full rubber damping for noise reduction
Outdoor unit and indoor ductwork are fully damped with rubber to keep neighbouring flats and shops quiet.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
The flat above complains about noise and vibration, how do you solve it?
We select quiet premium units and mount them on thick rubber dampers. We coordinate installation and maintenance timing with residents and minimize vibration.
Coastal humidity affects the shop, how often does the AC need cleaning?
High humidity speeds up mould and dust buildup in filters and coils. We recommend cleaning every one to two months in summer, slightly less in winter. We will propose a maintenance schedule in the quote.
The small garden beside the shop, will drain water damage it?
We design drain piping to safely direct water away from the garden and roots. We select a distant drain path or use a small catch basin to absorb water.
The shop is small with a low ceiling, can you fit a compact central system?
Yes, we can install a compact central system with thin, lightweight ductwork fitting low ceilings. We will review the space and propose the best fit for shop size.
