When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.

What sets this district apart
Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah is a rapidly growing district with medium-sized shops spread along reasonably organized streets, mostly standalone or in small centres. Southern Jeddah is hotter than the north, and coastal humidity is high especially in summer, so AC units need greater capacity and frequent cleaning to prevent mould and corrosion of electrical components and stock.
Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah sits in south Jeddah, a district of small and medium shops in a growing residential area on the coast.
Most shops here run split units with higher capacity than their counterparts in northern districts.
The AC setup in Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah
- 1
Single split unit with above-average capacity
Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah shops need split units with higher output because of intense heat and high coastal humidity.
- 2
Units with salt and rust-resistant coating
Coastal proximity means AC exposure to salt and humidity, so we select outdoor units with robust protective coatings.
- 3
Superior water drainage capacity
High humidity increases the water volume drained by the AC, so we ensure strong drainage with clear drain lines free of blockages.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Nuzlah Al Sharqiyah
- 1
Tell us the shop's sun exposure
Let us know if the shop faces direct sun in the morning or afternoon, as this affects the AC capacity choice.
- 2
Confirm clear access to the outdoor unit
Ensure the outdoor unit is easily accessible for regular maintenance and cleaning, and sheltered from strong salt-laden winds where possible.
- 3
Identify the water drain location
Tell us where AC drainage water will run, ensuring the location is safe and away from electrical wiring and sensitive stock.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
It's hotter here than other areas, what capacity AC do I need?
Southern Jeddah is significantly hotter. We size the unit based on your shop area, its sun exposure, door count and lighting, and often recommend above-minimum capacity.
The air here is very humid, can the AC handle it?
Yes, but units in humid areas need more frequent cleaning, especially the drain pan and filters, to prevent mould and bacterial growth.
My stock is sensitive to humidity, how do I control it?
The right AC unit reduces humidity alongside temperature. We select units with good dehumidifying capacity, and may recommend additional humidifiers or dehumidifiers depending on your stock type.
Shops here are exposed to salt air, how do you protect the AC from corrosion?
We select units from robust brands with rust-resistant coatings, and recommend regular external unit cleaning to remove salt residue and airborne salts.
