When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

- Maintenance contracts off peak
How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |

| Condensate | Dedicated line away from stock | Risk of drips on shelves |
| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Al Sanabel is a vibrant commercial zone with shops, restaurants and clinics, buildings of mixed modern and medium height with flexible outdoor placement due to relatively open layout. Summer heat sharply raises AC load, especially in restaurants combining kitchen heat and constant customer traffic, and shops serving clients all day. Maintenance and cleaning can be scheduled around flexible operating hours or closure times.
Al Sanabel is in south Jeddah, a developed commercial zone with shops, restaurants, services and scattered residential buildings.
Shops and restaurants here usually run powerful split units or central systems with outdoor units on roofs or side walls.
The AC setup in Al Sanabel
- 1
Dual or triple split units per shop
Large shops and restaurants need multiple split units for even cooling and better control in each section.
- 2
Central systems with separate kitchen ducts
Combined shop-restaurant buildings use central systems with separate kitchen ducts to prevent moisture and odour spread.
- 3
Enhanced drainage for restaurants
Restaurants need robust drainage and insulated walls around the AC to handle high humidity and protect adjacent shops.

Tell us about any partition between shop and kitchen
Whether the shop and restaurant are separate or connected, and what walls or doors divide them, helps us design the right system.
- 2
Mark outdoor unit sites and drain points
Make sure the roof or side wall for the outdoor unit is accessible, and mark where condensate safely drains away from adjacent shops.
- 3
Schedule maintenance around flexible hours

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
My shop and restaurant are in the same building, can they share one AC system?
Possible if the space is open between them, but the restaurant needs higher capacity due to kitchen steam, so we recommend separate systems for better control and efficiency.
My restaurant has high heat load and the AC runs hard constantly, how do we protect it?
We recommend monthly or six-weekly cleaning, a voltage regulator to protect the compressor, and may add booster fans to improve airflow and reduce unit stress.
Moisture and smell from the restaurant seep into the shop, is this normal?
Yes, if they share one system. We recommend strong separation, separate ducts, and high-grade filters at the kitchen opening to absorb moisture and odour.
The restaurant floor stays wet, does that affect the AC and drainage?
Yes, excess moisture and floor water affect drainage and the system. First improve floor drainage, then install strong AC drainage with regular maintenance.
