Split AC installation in Al Ain Al Aziziyah

In Al Ain Al Aziziyah, central Jeddah, a properly installed split requires precise unit positioning, insulated copper and correct drainage to cool quietly from day one. Alrabih vacuums the refrigerant line before start-up to avoid moisture issues or noise.

  • Mueller copper
  • Full vacuum
  • Proper drain

When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Al Ain Al Aziziyah is a mixed district of modern villas and mid-rise apartment blocks with varied outdoor space, and many buildings sit near main roads exposed to dust and heat. Split installation here calls for positioning the outdoor unit away from noise and dust sources, and routing insulated copper carefully through exterior walls or balconies.

Al Ain Al Aziziyah is a central residential district mixing villas and mid-rise blocks near main roads.

Villas here use single or dual split units, whilst apartment blocks prefer one unit per flat, with outdoor units typically on balconies or side walls.

  3. 3

    Confirm nearby electrical supply

Check for a nearby socket or safe electrical run to the indoor unit without exposed trailing cables.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Our flat is in an apartment block, how do you safely install the outdoor unit on a balcony?

We choose a secure, stable position for the unit, ensure it does not protrude offensively to neighbours, and use strong metal brackets and bolts.

The main road is next to us, with lots of dust and noise, will a split unit work here?

Yes, but we position the outdoor unit away from the road as far as possible and use a protective cover to minimise dust entering the condenser.

How long is the insulated copper run between the units?

This depends on where the outdoor and indoor units sit. We choose the shortest practical distance to minimise cooling loss and noise.

Can copper lines run down the apartment block's exterior without damaging the paint?

We route lines carefully with plastic channels for protection and secure them neatly without damaging the building's exterior finish.
