When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

What sets this district apart

Al Bawadi is a central zone mixing relatively older villas with modern residential blocks and moderately organised streets. The central location means high sun exposure and heat during the day, especially in summer, plus moderate humidity from its position between the sea and the south. This calls for careful placement of the outdoor unit away from direct sun where possible, and full insulation of the copper to prevent condensation and mould.

Al Bawadi lies in central Jeddah, a mixed zone of villas and residential blocks with high temperatures and moderate humidity.

Villas and blocks here use medium to high capacity split units, and outdoor units usually need shaded or sun-protected placement.

The AC setup in Al Bawadi

  1. 1

Split units in villas with gardens and private courtyards

Villas in Al Bawadi usually offer enough outdoor space for a protected unit location away from direct sun and street view.

  2. 2

Split units in mixed-pattern residential blocks

Blocks here blend old and new designs, so outdoor units may need tight facades or shared roofs.

  3. 3

    Units protected from intense heat

Most outdoor units in Al Bawadi need extra sun protection, either from shaded placement or a shading bracket.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Bawadi

  1. 1

Identify where the sun hits your building all day

Tell us which walls get full sun in morning and evening so we can choose the shadiest spot for the outdoor unit.

  2. 2

Confirm safe outdoor space is available

Check that the courtyard or external wall allows safe unit mounting away from children and pets.

  3. 3

Tell us about existing drainage and plumbing

If there is drainage nearby the proposed location, it will help route the AC's drain efficiently.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My villa gets full sun exposure in summer, where should the outdoor unit go?

We select the shadiest spot on a north or east-facing wall if possible, or install a shading bracket above the unit allowing good airflow. Direct exposure reduces efficiency, so we protect it without blocking air.

Humidity in Al Bawadi is high, does that affect the copper pipes?

Yes, moderate humidity increases condensation on uninsulated pipes. We use thick, high-quality insulation around all copper, and seal every opening carefully to prevent moisture from entering or exiting.

The heat here is intense in summer, do I need a more powerful unit?

Capacity depends on your villa or flat size, room count, and how many sunlit windows there are. We visit to assess the need accurately, selecting the capacity that balances efficiency and energy use.

I expect to leave the flat for two months, should I shut the AC completely?

Yes, you can shut it down, but we recommend opening doors and windows slightly every week to prevent humidity and mould build-up, especially during high-humidity seasons.
