When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Al Aqeeq is a modern neighbourhood mixing spacious villas with mid-rise residential blocks and reasonably ample outdoor space. Streets are regular and access is easy, making installation more efficient. However, some villas sit on gentle slopes or have different foundation levels, which can affect how the drain from the outdoor unit is directed so it slopes correctly. Also, garden space may be tight in some closely packed villas.

Al Aqeeq is in north Jeddah, a neighbourhood of modern villas and blocks with regular streets and reasonably open outdoor areas.

Most installations here need a medium copper run (4 to 9 metres), and outdoor units are placed on east or south-facing walls away from permanent shade to prevent moisture buildup.

The AC setup in Al Aqeeq

  1. 1

Split unit for villa on gentle slopes

Al Aqeeq villas on slopes need carefully planned drainage so water flows naturally away from the foundation.

  2. 2

    Multiple splits for residential blocks

Blocks in Al Aqeeq use individual splits per flat, with outdoor units on the façade away from permanent shade.

  3. 3

Medium copper runs with protection from direct heat

Copper runs here are medium length and need strong insulation to protect the refrigerant from pressure loss due to high heat.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Aqeeq

  1. 1

Choose outdoor unit location away from constant shade

Tell us which wall you prefer for the outdoor unit, preferably east or south-facing with partial sun and away from neighbours' walls.

  2. 2

Ensure the outdoor unit location is safe and stable

If the villa is on a slope, ensure the chosen wall is solid and the mounting will be safe, and let us know if there are any cracks in the wall.

  3. 3

Prepare the indoor location and electrical setup

Choose the room and wall for the indoor unit, and confirm a safe electrical outlet nearby or prepare the main board location for the power cable run.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Some villas in Al Aqeeq sit on slopes, does that affect the drain?

Yes, we route the drain to slope naturally downward even if the villa is on a slope, and we check the gradient during installation.

Villas in Al Aqeeq are sometimes close together, how do you choose the outdoor unit location?

We choose an east or south-facing wall away from neighbours' walls, and if space is very tight, we discuss alternatives with you before installing.

Al Aqeeq gets very hot, does that affect outdoor unit placement?

Yes, we avoid walls that take the sun all day, and choose an east or south-facing wall that gets some afternoon shade.

Power might be far from the outdoor unit location, how far can you run the cable?

We run the cable alongside the copper with safe insulation matching the unit's capacity, and the safe distance will be determined at the first visit based on specifications.
