When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.

What sets this district apart

Al Gharbiyah is a relatively modern residential area of detached villas and apartment blocks with wide outdoor spaces, offering flexibility in siting the outdoor unit away from the building's front facade. That layout allows longer copper runs without complex bends, and proper drainage gradient toward a safe drain point. The open spacing between villas reduces humidity buildup around the outdoor unit compared with older areas, which aids long-term performance stability.

Al Gharbiyah lies in north Jeddah, a modern residential area mixing detached villas and apartment blocks surrounded by green spaces and open plots.

Most villas and flats in Al Gharbiyah favour split units of medium to high capacity because of high ambient temperatures, and the outdoor unit is usually mounted on side or rear walls.

The AC setup in Al Gharbiyah

  1. 1

    High-capacity split units for villas

Villas in Al Gharbiyah choose split units of 3 to 5 horsepower to cool large, sun-exposed areas.

  2. 2

Outdoor units on side or rear walls

Wide outdoor spaces allow the outdoor unit to sit well away from the front facade, improving airflow and appearance.

  3. 3

    Insulated copper in variable lengths

Large separations between units call for insulated copper of 10 metres or more without performance loss.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Gharbiyah

  1. 1

    Identify your preferred outdoor-unit location

Choose a shaded spot near a safe drain outlet and tell us before the visit so we can confirm it is feasible.

  2. 2

    Prepare a safe drainage outlet

Ensure there is a ground drain or gutter that can take the condensate without pooling or dampness around the villa base.

  3. 3

Clear access for the team and equipment

Make sure the team can reach both indoor and outdoor sites easily with tools and equipment, with no obstructions.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

How much copper run do I need from a distant outdoor-unit site?

It depends on the siting of both units and their separation. We visit and measure precisely to determine the copper and insulation length needed without waste or shortfall.

Can copper and drain lines be hidden inside walls after construction?

It depends on the wall type and building materials. We inspect the site and discuss options with you before installation.

Temperatures in Al Gharbiyah are very high, does that affect cooling efficiency?

High temperatures increase the load on the outdoor unit, so we site it in shade where possible and match the capacity to the room size and expected usage.

Does the drainage need a dedicated water line or special outlet?

Drainage falls by gravity to a safe outlet, which may be a villa trench, gutter or existing drain. We examine the site and choose the best drainage point before installation.
