When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Rawabi is a modern residential district of detached villas and similar-styled homes spread across relatively spacious plots with gardens and outdoor spaces. Buildings here are not closely packed like older districts, giving more flexibility in copper runs and outdoor unit placement. However, intense summer heat and most villas' exposure to direct sun for long periods require careful placement of the outdoor unit and strong insulation to handle compressor stress.
Al Rawabi lies south of Jeddah, a modern residential district of detached villas spread across wide spaces away from dense urban areas.
Most villas and homes here prefer one or two splits per bedroom, with outdoor units placed on external walls or side yards.
The AC setup in Al Rawabi
- 1
One or more splits per room
Detached villas in Al Rawabi need distributed cooling, so separate split units are installed for each bedroom or living area.
- 2
Outdoor units on walls and yards
Outdoor units are mounted on external walls or placed on side-yard ground, kept as far from direct sun as possible.
- 3
Multiple copper runs for spacious villas
Larger villas may need separate copper runs for each outdoor unit, with each run carefully insulated to handle heat.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Our villa faces the sun all day, where should we place the outdoor unit?
The outdoor unit should go on the shaded or north-facing side of the villa if possible, away from walls that catch direct sun, to reduce compressor load.
Our yards in Al Rawabi are spacious, can we place the unit far from the house?
Yes, longer runs are possible in spacious yards, but the copper must be well insulated and drainage slope must be correct across the entire distance.
Summer heat here is very intense, does this affect which unit we choose?
Yes, in Al Rawabi we advise choosing units with sufficient cooling capacity and high efficiency to handle intense heat, matching the room size and thermal insulation.
We have outdoor electrical wires in the yard, how do we avoid cutting them during installation?
Tell us before the visit about any outdoor electrical lines or water pipes in the yard, and we will drill carefully and study the location closely before fixing.
