When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Shurooq is a modern, planned district of detached villas and neat apartment blocks with wide spaces between buildings. The infrastructure is contemporary and streets are broad, making installation team access straightforward. Outdoor units mount easily on roofs or outer walls without conflicts with neighbouring buildings. Running insulated copper is relatively clean and straightforward, and drainage needs no complex workarounds because buildings are spaced far enough apart.
Al Shurooq is in the east, a district of modern, planned apartment blocks and villas with spacious infrastructure.
Most outdoor units here are on roofs or rear outer walls, with copper distances tailored to villa or flat layout.
The AC setup in Al Shurooq
- 1
Split unit with outdoor on villa roof
The standard option in Al Shurooq, where the outdoor unit is mounted on the roof at a safe distance from bedroom windows.
- 2
Split unit with outdoor on rear wall
Some modern villas prefer mounting the outdoor unit on the rear wall, away from the front facade and street.
- 3
Organized copper routes with visual screening
In villas with front gardens, we run copper on the rear wall or use decorative covers to maintain the home's appearance.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Villas here are modern and planned; are there standard spots for the outdoor unit?
Modern designs typically allow adequate space on the roof or rear wall for the outdoor unit. We choose the best spot based on the villa's layout and the required distance from bedroom or lounge windows.
There is plenty of space between buildings; does this affect cooling efficiency?
Wide spacing allows the outdoor unit good natural airflow, which improves cooling efficiency and reduces compressor strain. Unit placement does not need complex calculations to avoid blocking neighbouring walls.
Coastal dust and humidity: do these affect where you place the outdoor unit?
Yes, we select a position allowing good natural airflow to reduce dust and humidity buildup. In Al Shurooq, wide spacing makes this easier than in dense areas.
The electrical cable from the home panel to the outdoor unit: how do you choose the route?
We choose a route that keeps the front and garden neat, mounting the cable on a rear wall or running it through conduit if underground. We ensure the route is safe and easy to maintain.
