When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Ghulail is a developing residential district with modern villas, mid-rise residential buildings and some new housing projects. Buildings here are newer than older southern districts, but distributed between spacious plots and compact multi-storey blocks, requiring flexibility in runs and installation. Intense summer heat and most villas' long sun exposure demand wise placement of the outdoor unit and strong insulation. Coordination with villa owners or management of new apartment buildings may be needed in some projects.

Ghulail lies south of Jeddah, an emerging residential district blending modern villas, mid-rise buildings and new housing projects.

In Ghulail, one or two splits per housing unit is common, with outdoor units mounted on external walls or available side yards.

The AC setup in Ghulail

  1. 1

    Splits in modern villas

Modern villas in Ghulail need one or more units depending on size and thermal insulation, with strong insulated copper runs.

  2. 2

    Splits in new residential buildings

New mid-rise buildings here need separate units per flat, with coordination for outdoor unit placement on roofs or balconies.

  3. 3

Multiple splits in large housing projects

Large housing projects may need multiple copper runs for different outdoor units, each served separately.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Ghulail

  1. 1

Plan outdoor unit location away from sun

Choose a shaded or north-facing location for the outdoor unit if possible, away from walls that catch direct sun.

  2. 2

Confirm foundation and drainage at the location

Make sure the ground around the outdoor unit location is solid and slightly raised, with good drainage after rain.

  3. 3

If in a building or project, coordinate with management

In buildings or new projects, notify management of the visit date and confirm outdoor unit location with the maintenance team.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Our new building in Ghulail: do we need to coordinate with management before installation?

Yes, in new housing projects we advise notifying the project management or homeowners' committee beforehand to confirm outdoor unit locations and check existing pipes.

The new villas here have varied designs, how do you handle this diversity?

We inspect each villa before installation to understand its design, room distances and best placement for units, then tailor the copper run to each villa's unique layout.

New projects might still be under construction, does this affect installation timing?

Yes, if the project is still under construction, we advise waiting until major works and digging are complete, so the units are not damaged by dust and moisture.

Ground here gets damp after rain sometimes, does this affect outdoor unit mounting?

Outdoor units must be on a solid, slightly raised base to avoid water pooling, and we ensure good drainage around the location.
