Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Radwa
Split AC installation in Radwa, north-east Jeddah, requires careful capacity calculation because heat here is higher than in north Jeddah and humidity swings with season. We mount both units carefully, run insulated copper and a drain at the right slope, then vacuum the line before start-up.
- Mueller copper
- Full vacuum
- Proper drain

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Radwa is a mixed residential neighbourhood in north-east Jeddah, with villas and apartment blocks with private gardens and moderate outdoor space. Its inland location means notably higher heat, especially in summer, and humidity that swings between dry and humid periods. So split unit capacity here should be rated slightly higher than in coastal zones, and drainage needs closer watching during humid spells.
Radwa sits in north-east Jeddah and is a mixed residential area of villas and apartments with small gardens and moderate outdoor spaces.
Most villas and apartments in Radwa need medium to high capacity split units because of the heat, with outdoor units mounted on roofs or side walls away from main rooms.
The AC setup in Radwa
- 1
Outdoor unit on side wall or low roof
Small gardens and moderate spaces in Radwa allow the outdoor unit to be mounted on side walls or low roofs away from vegetation.
- 2
Insulated copper at standard gauge with a cooling filter
High heat calls for good insulated copper and a strong air filter to protect the unit from internal and external dust.
- 3
Drain at steeper slope with extra filter
We install the drain at a steeper slope to speed drainage during humid periods, with an extra filter to prevent blockage.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Radwa's heat is higher, do I need above-average capacity?
Yes, the inland location means higher heat than coastal zones. We measure the room size and propose the right capacity to handle summer heat.
Humidity in Radwa swings, does this affect the unit?
Yes, humid periods increase condensation in the drain. We choose a good filter and install the drain at a steeper slope for faster drainage.
My garden is small, where should I place the outdoor unit?
We mount it on the villa's side wall or a low roof away from trees and shrubs, to ensure good airflow and prevent leaf accumulation around it.
Is airflow around my villa sufficient for the outdoor unit?
We survey the site beforehand. If the villa is closely surrounded by others, we may need to mount the unit higher or add an extra support stand.
