When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |

| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |

What sets this district apart
Sha'na is a mixed district of detached villas and multi-storey apartment blocks, with varied designs offering different amounts of outdoor space. Some villas have spacious roofs, while blocks sometimes have narrow balconies, requiring careful choice of outdoor unit placement. Seasonal humidity and sea air make robust copper insulation and regular upkeep essential to prevent corrosion and leaks.
Sha'na lies in east Jeddah, a mixed residential area blending detached villas with multi-storey apartment blocks.
Splits here vary by building type: villas with one outdoor unit on the roof, blocks with units on balconies or shared roofs.
The AC setup in Sha'na
- 1
Standalone split for villas
Standalone villas here typically have one or two units on the roof or a sheltered side wall.
- 2
Multiple splits for blocks
Blocks provide each flat with its own unit on a balcony or shared roof, each with separate drainage.
- 3
Limited but adequate outdoor space
Sha'na offers reasonable outdoor space for units, not always spacious but sufficient for safe mounting and upkeep.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
My block is older with a narrow balcony, can you still fit the split?
Yes, we choose a safe balcony or side-wall spot that bears the unit weight without weakening the structure, and confirm it is sound before fitting.
My villa sits close to the next building, is access straightforward?
In Sha'na gaps can be tight, so we check safe access to the villa before the date and ask you to leave gates or locks easy to open.
The sea air here is strong and salty, how do you protect the copper?
We use thick, high-grade copper insulation and recommend an annual inspection of the outdoor unit to spot any corrosion early.
Will the AC drain from my balcony bother the neighbours below?
We direct the drain carefully so it does not drip on the flat below, either by connecting it to the building drainage or fitting a collection tray.
