When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Umm Hablain Al Sharqiyah is a medium-density residential district with closer-set homes than Al Hamdaniyah and limited outdoor space, with small gardens and moderate-height roofs. This layout cuts down outdoor unit placement options, so units are often mounted on exterior walls or narrow balconies instead of roofs. The proximity between homes means choosing a location that does not cause noise or water leaks for neighbours.

Umm Hablain Al Sharqiyah lies in east Jeddah, a medium-density residential district with closer-set homes and limited space.

Most outdoor units in Umm Hablain Al Sharqiyah are mounted on exterior walls or balconies rather than roofs due to space constraints.

The AC setup in Umm Hablain Al Sharqiyah

  1. 1

One or two split units depending on home size

Most homes in Umm Hablain Al Sharqiyah take one split unit given the space constraints, with the outdoor unit on a wall or balcony.

  2. 2

Outdoor unit mounted on wall or balcony

Limited space makes mounting the outdoor unit on an exterior wall or balcony the best option rather than the roof.

  3. 3

Shorter insulated copper with tight sealing

Shorter indoor-to-outdoor distances reduce the copper required, but tight insulation is essential to minimize noise.

Before the visit

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My outdoor space is very small, where can I put the outdoor unit?

The unit can be mounted on an exterior wall, narrow balcony, or even a sealed window. We choose the best location during the visit to ensure good airflow and prevent water leaks.

Our homes are very close together, will the noise disturb neighbours?

We place the unit away from neighbours' windows where possible, and mount it on vibration-absorbing brackets. Good pipe insulation significantly reduces noise.

Space is tight and I am worried about water leaking on the shared wall, how do you prevent this?

We install the drain pipe at the correct slope towards a gap or garden, away from shared walls. The pipe is insulated and tightly secured to prevent any leaks.

My roof is relatively low, does this affect installation?

It does not affect installation, but we may choose an exterior wall or balcony instead of the roof. We assess safe and effective options during the visit.
