Precision-made ductwork
AC duct manufacturing in Al Hindawiyah
In Al Hindawiyah, old downtown Jeddah, shops and flats in closely built blocks sometimes need AC distributed through small tightly sealed ducts. We manufacture distribution ducts with precision in our workshop, seal them with Foster sealant, and deliver them numbered and ready to install in tight spaces.

When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Sealing | Foster on every seam in workshop | Uneven site sealing |
| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Hindawiyah is an old district of tightly packed buildings around popular markets, where shops and residential flats often share the same structure. Some of these older buildings are converting from separate split units to distributed AC via small ducts, especially in mixed-use commercial blocks. Workshop-made ducts solve the gap and leak problems from on-site cutting, which is vital in Jeddah's hot, humid environment.
Al Hindawiyah sits in Jeddah's historic downtown, an old district of closely packed residential and commercial buildings around traditional markets.
Many of Al Hindawiyah's older buildings still rely on separate split units, though some relatively newer blocks use small distribution ducts.
The AC setup in Al Hindawiyah
- 1
Small insulated ducts for closely packed old blocks
Tight gaps between old building walls need small-diameter flexible ducts, which we manufacture in portable sections.
- 2
Numbered ducts ready for manual installation
We deliver ducts numbered and insulated so the team and local workers can install them by hand without heavy equipment.
- 3
Strong insulation to resist coastal humidity
High coastal humidity in Jeddah demands complete insulation and tight sealing, so we use high-density foam throughout.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Hindawiyah
- 1
Identify access points and available cavities
Show us the team's entry points and the gaps between walls and ceilings available for running ducts through.
- 2
Coordinate installation times with residents and shops
If the building is occupied or has open shops, agree installation times with residents and tenants to minimise disruption.
- 3
Ensure ducts can be moved through narrow streets
Check that streets and passages around the building allow duct sections to be moved easily without blocking foot traffic or vehicles.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Can you manufacture small ducts for narrow old flats?
Yes, we design ducts to fit narrow gaps between walls and ceilings, and deliver them in small sections ready to install in limited space.
Narrow streets in the old town make access hard, how do you get the made ducts there?
We deliver ducts in small sections that can be carried by hand through narrow streets and passages easily, and the team coordinates with residents beforehand to ensure safe access.
Old town humidity causes mould in ducts, how do you protect them?
We insulate every duct with thick foam and seal every joint with Foster sealant to prevent outside humidity entering, which greatly reduces mould.
Old buildings here may be occupied during installation, how do you handle that?
We coordinate with residents and shop owners beforehand to choose installation times that suit them, usually early morning or evening to minimise disruption.
