When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart
Al Masarrah is a district of spacious villas and modern apartment blocks spaced well apart with green areas, allowing organised and deep central AC runs. Buildings here meet high standards and need tight-sealed ducts to cut energy loss in south Jeddah's hot humid summer. On-site cutting and joining creates small gaps and air bleed, but workshop manufacturing with Foster sealing on every seam prevents any cold air loss.
Al Masarrah sits in south Jeddah, a district of modern villas and spaced apartment buildings with generous plots.
Central AC ducts in Al Masarrah typically run through suspended ceilings in corridors and common areas, needing precise cutting and tight joining.
The AC setup in Al Masarrah
- 1
Deep main ducts for villas and apartment blocks
Villas and modern blocks in Al Masarrah need deep main runs from the outdoor unit through suspended ceilings and internal cavities.
- 2
Multi-level distribution branches
Multi-storey buildings need distribution branches on each floor, precisely made to spread air evenly across flats and zones.
- 3
Fully insulated return ducts throughout
Return ducts in Al Masarrah need complete insulation along their full length as returning air encounters heat and humidity before reaching the unit.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Masarrah
- 1
Gather complete accurate architectural drawings
We need full drawings of ceilings, internal cavities and floor-to-floor heights to design ducts accurately before manufacturing.
- 2
Identify primary duct access routes
Select the best routes for ducts through ceilings and walls based on building layout and existing piping.
- 3
Confirm adequate space availability
Check that gaps between ceilings and walls are large enough for easy mounting of insulated duct sections without obstruction.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
My villa needs central AC, how do you make ducts for such large spaces?
We make the main and branch ducts complete to your villa's dimensions, dividing them into numbered sections that simplify installation and future maintenance.
Cool air is being lost from the project ducts, what causes it?
On-site cutting creates small gaps that bleed air, but we manufacture ducts in-workshop with precision and seal every joint with Foster to prevent any loss.
Does Al Masarrah's humidity affect insulated ducts?
Full insulation protects ducts from moisture condensation and mould, and Al Masarrah's humidity is seasonal in summer, so good insulation is essential.
How long does it take to make the ducts after I order?
Timing depends on your project size, number of sections and runs; send your drawings and we will set a fitting schedule.
