When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Quzain is diverse, mixing modern residential villas, apartment blocks and small-to-medium commercial projects, many needing conversion from split units to central systems. Ducts cut on site leave gaps, leakage and moisture condensation on surfaces, especially in intense heat. Manufacturing them in the workshop with sealed joints and full insulation ensures high efficiency and temperature stability.

Al Quzain lies south of Jeddah, featuring a mix of residential villas, apartment blocks, shops and clinics.

Projects here need ducts of varying sizes based on residential and commercial needs, and most require expansion or redesign.

The AC setup in Al Quzain

  1. 1

Duct system for a single villa

Modern villas need a unified duct network from a central unit distributing cold air evenly to all rooms and lounges.

  2. 2

Ducts for shops and small clinics

Shops and clinics need airtight ducts because air leakage raises costs and consumption, and can affect product and medicine preservation.

  3. 3

Mixed duct system for apartment blocks

Small-to-medium apartment blocks may need central ducts for some flats and split air for others, depending on design and budget.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Quzain

  1. 1

Provide villa or shop dimensions and floor plans

Send us the villa or shop measurements and floor layout so we can calculate duct lengths and branch points accurately.

  2. 2

Confirm outdoor unit and fan locations

Confirm where the outdoor unit will go (roof, courtyard or side wall) and where the central fan will sit, as this affects duct lengths.

  3. 3

Inspect passages and spaces for ducts

Inspect the passages between villas and spaces in ceilings and walls to confirm they can take ducts, and tell us of any obstacles.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

I have a shop and villa together, do ducts serve both or are they separate?

They need separate ducts because cooling needs differ and the shop may require a different temperature. We design a separate system for each based on your needs.

Passages between villas are narrow, how do you bring installation equipment in?

Ducts come pre-made from the workshop ready for bracket installation, so we need no large equipment on site. The team carries sections by hand when needed.

Jeddah's summer heat is intense, do insulated ducts improve efficiency?

Yes, considerably. Full insulation reduces cold-air loss during distribution, so the unit maintains the required temperature without extra strain.

We may need to expand soon, can new ducts be added easily?

We design the system from the start to allow for expansion. When needed, we manufacture additional ducts in the workshop that match the existing system.
