When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

What sets this district apart

Al Naeem is a relatively modern residential district marked by varied villas and apartment blocks with good internal spaces. Urban development here is sound and orderly, and central AC systems are standard. Jeddah's humid heat demands airtight ducts, and on-site cutting wastes cold air and traps moisture between walls. Workshop-made ducts with full Foster sealing deliver high performance and lasting protection against humidity.

Al Naeem is a modern residential district in north Jeddah marked by orderly urban development with varied villas and apartment blocks.

Most projects here use central AC with insulated ducts distributed through suspended ceilings.

The AC setup in Al Naeem

  1. 1

Balanced duct network with sealed plenum

Al Naeem systems need main ducts from the sealed plenum with balanced secondary branches to each zone.

  2. 2

Unified return ducts under suspended ceiling

Return ducts use the unified plenum space above the suspended ceiling, easing installation and future maintenance.

  3. 3

Full insulation and Foster seal on every seam

All ducts and plenum are fully insulated and every seam and joint is Foster-sealed for lasting protection.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

A new villa needs a duct system designed from scratch, how does the process start?

We request the architectural plans and exact measurements, design a balanced duct network with main trunk and branches, then manufacture in the workshop.

Do workshop-made ducts fit modern suspended ceilings?

Yes, we ask about available space below the suspended ceiling and other services before manufacturing and coordinate dimensions precisely.

Jeddah humidity may cause mould, are insulated ducts enough protection?

Insulation alone is not enough, so we seal every joint with Foster to block outside humidity and prevent condensation buildup.

Can new branches be added to ducts after installation?

It is best to determine all branches and vents before manufacturing so ducts arrive complete, numbered and ready to install without later changes.
