When duct quality makes the difference
- 1
Duct losing cold air
An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.
- 2
Condensation wetting the ceiling
In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.
- 3
A project with many duct runs
A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.
Who it's for
Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork
We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send sizes or drawings
Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.
- 2
Review sizes and sheet gauge
We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.
- 3
Fabricate, seal and insulate
We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.
- 4
Number and deliver
We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.
Workshop-made or site-cut duct?

| Insulation | Kimmco or Armaflex fully wrapped | Partial or delayed wrap |
| Sheet gauge | Chosen for each duct size | One gauge for everything |
| Assembly time | Numbered, assembled straight away | Cut and adjust on site |
| Joint fit | Workshop dimensions close every joint | Hand trimming breaks the seal |

What sets this district apart
Al Nahda mixes modern residential blocks and commercial and service projects relying on efficient central cooling through an extensive duct network. On-site cutting leaves gaps and cold-air leaks, increasing humidity and energy loss in the heat months. Workshop-made ducts with full insulation and tight sealing deliver even distribution and high operational efficiency, lowering bills and maintaining air quality.
Al Nahda lies in north Jeddah, a mixed area of modern residential blocks and commercial projects.
Buildings here use central cooling units with long distribution ducts covering multiple floors and multiple indoor units.
The AC setup in Al Nahda
- 1
Mid-sized main distribution ducts
Mixed residential and commercial projects here use main ducts of 500 to 700 mm diameter distributing air across multiple floors.
- 2
Regular branch ducts
Branches from the main duct regularly distribute air to indoor units in each flat or shop, each fully insulated.
- 3
Unified return plenums
Return plenums collect air from all branches and send it to the central unit, made with unified tight sealing.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Nahda
- 1
Get precise system drawings
Ensure detailed drawings showing duct paths, diameters, joints and locations of central and indoor units are available.
- 2
Identify access and assembly point
Ensure a safe space on site is available to assemble sections before they are lifted to ceilings for final fixing.
- 3
Coordinate timing with construction schedule
Confirm the duct arrival date based on construction phases, and notify us of the required date well beforehand.

FAQ
Questions about AC duct manufacturing
How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?
We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.
Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?
Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.
Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?
Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.
Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?
Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.
Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?
The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.
Do you make ducts for all types of residential and commercial projects?
Yes, we make ducts for residential, commercial and service projects of various sizes, with sealing and insulation suited to each project's needs.
Mixed projects here, how do you coordinate ducts for multiple systems?
We request precise drawings for each system and make ducts separate and numbered, so installation follows each project's layout easily.
Does heat and humidity here affect duct quality?
Yes, so we apply thick insulation to all ducts and seal every joint carefully to prevent condensation and heat loss.
If manufactured ducts need adjustments after installation, what do you do?
We make them to high precision to match drawings exactly, but if minor adjustment is needed, we handle it quickly on site.
