Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Huda is a relatively modern residential district spanning a wide area with contemporary villas and mid-scale apartment blocks featuring domestic-style suspended ceilings, all needing central AC distributed across multiple units. On-site hand-fabrication takes longer and leaves dust in the home, whereas workshop manufacturing delivers precise duct enabling faster, cleaner installation inside the villa or apartment block.

Al Huda lies south Jeddah, a modern residential district of villas and mid-rise apartments spread across a wide area.

Most villas and apartments here use small to medium rectangular duct distributed through regular suspended ceilings without architectural complexity.

The AC setup in Al Huda

  1. 1

Small domestic rectangular duct for villas and apartments

Villas and residential apartments need small rectangular duct distributed through simple, regular suspended ceilings without architectural complications.

  2. 2

    Standard bends and regular outlets

Residential buildings need simple standard bends and evenly-spaced outlets in bedrooms and living areas.

  3. 3

    Standard joints for future additions

Fabricated duct uses standard joints, allowing new sections to be added easily if the villa or apartment is enlarged later.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Huda

  1. 1

Provide plans of suspended ceilings and interior walls

Before the visit, provide architectural plans showing suspended ceilings, walls and available spaces for duct in each room.

  2. 2

Identify the outdoor unit and plant room location

Let us know where the outdoor unit is on the roof or in the garden, and where the plant room or storage will house the air handler.

  3. 3

Ensure safe access to overhead spaces

Confirm the team can safely access suspended ceilings and overhead spaces without obstacles; some ceiling panels may need opening for measurement and installation.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Our new villa has suspended ceilings, does your duct fit?

We measure the suspended ceiling space precisely and fabricate duct to fit exactly in the tight gap between ceiling and walls.

Fast installation in the home is important to us, does ready-made duct speed things up?

Yes, pre-fabricated duct arrives with exact dimensions and correct bends, cutting installation time and reducing noise and dust inside the home.

Al Huda is hot and humid, does that quickly damage metal duct?

Galvanized duct withstands heat and coastal humidity, and precise measurements with tight joints prevent moisture and dust from entering the duct network.

We expanded the villa, can we add more duct later?

We fabricate duct with standard regular joints, making it straightforward to add matching new sections now or in the future if you expand.
