Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Manarat is a recently developed area with upmarket residential properties, five-star hotels and major shopping centers, whose advanced projects demand sophisticated central AC systems with very tight specifications and complex designs requiring duct with strict dimensions and professional details. Site-cut fabrication does not suit these premium project specs, so workshop fabrication from precise drawings delivers quality aligned with international standards.

Al Manarat sits in far north Jeddah's newest expansion, a highly advanced urban area with resorts, shopping centers and luxury residential projects.

Central AC systems in Al Manarat's resorts and hotels require ISO-spec duct with very high professional detailing standards.

The AC setup in Al Manarat

  1. 1

ISO-spec central duct for hotels and resorts

Hotel and resort projects in Al Manarat require duct to strict international standards and professional detailing to ensure even air distribution and high efficiency.

  2. 2

Precise transitions between different duct diameters

Transitions between main and branch duct diameters are fabricated with high precision to minimize pressure drop and energy loss.

  3. 3

Rectangular and circular sections by available space

Duct adapts to available floor and ceiling space based on the engineering system design.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Manarat

  1. 1

Prepare a complete copy of the engineering drawings

Ensure all mechanical and engineering system drawings are available in clear format before the visit so we can ensure measurement accuracy.

  2. 2

Provide a safe work area for the team on site

Allocate a safe, well-lit area on site for the team to take measurements and verify tight spaces and obstacles.

  3. 3

Agree on the fabricated duct delivery schedule

Agree with us in advance on the date to receive the fabricated duct and how to store it on site to avoid delays.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Our hotel project needs duct to international standards, do you handle this?

Yes, we fabricate duct from galvanized and aluminium sheet to precise specifications per international standards and approved engineering drawings.

The hotel needs very complex duct transitions and bends, can you achieve the required precision?

We fabricate transitions, bends and offsets to high precision in the workshop from engineering drawings, ensuring no air leakage at the joints.

The project site is far, do you deliver the duct to site?

Yes, we transport fabricated duct in protective wrapping and deliver it to site in ready-to-install condition.

Do you work from CAD drawings for large projects?

Yes, we accept CAD drawings and engineering specifications and convert site data or drawings into precisely dimensioned duct.
