Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Al Rabiyah is a relatively modern district of upscale villas and apartment blocks with contemporary designs and multi-level suspended ceilings, where each unit typically needs a central AC system with intricate ductwork matching the precision interior design. Measuring duct from exact engineering drawings and fabricating in the workshop ensures perfect harmony with the interior space and removes the need for on-site modifications that could affect quality or cause delay.

Al Rabiyah lies in south Jeddah and holds modern villas and apartment blocks with suspended ceilings and precise interior finishes.

Most villas and blocks here run one central AC system per unit with rectangular duct and multiple branches.

The AC setup in Al Rabiyah

  1. 1

    Rectangular duct with multiple branches

Most systems here use rectangular duct from the central unit with independent branches to each zone or room group.

  2. 2

    Precise dividers and offsets

Duct includes precise dividers and offsets for even air distribution, some custom-made for each space's design.

  3. 3

    High manufacturing quality standards

Duct is fabricated to strict standards ensuring no air leakage, perfect seal fit and acoustic isolation.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Rabiyah

  1. 1

Send detailed architectural and interior drawings

Send us all drawings including interior design, suspended ceilings and existing pipes a week before measurement.

  2. 2

Confirm duct routes and branch positions

Discuss with our team the main duct route, branch and outlet locations, and any architectural constraints affecting the design.

  3. 3

Coordinate with the contractor or interior engineer

Ensure duct coordination with ceiling, electrical and plumbing works, and tell our installation team of any on-site changes.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

I have a precise interior design, will fabricated duct match it?

Yes, we use your architectural and interior design drawings in detail and fabricate duct to fit the planned spaces exactly with no on-site modification.

My ceilings are suspended at multiple levels, how do you handle that?

We measure each ceiling level precisely and fabricate separate duct sections to fit each space, with proper transitions between different levels.

Can you fabricate textured or polished aluminium duct to match the interior design?

We can fabricate duct with coloured or textured aluminium finishes on request, but this extends production time. We discuss options with you beforehand.

Does fabricated duct cost more than cutting on site?

Workshop fabrication eliminates on-site errors, waste and delays, so total cost may be lower in the long term. Send a site photo on WhatsApp for an exact quote.
