Who needs workshop-fabricated duct?

  1. 1

    A contractor with project-specific sizes

Your project has non-standard sizes or volumes too large for site cutting. We fabricate rectangular and round sections from your drawings at exact dimensions, labelled and ready to hang when they reach the site.

  2. 2

Fittings too awkward to cut on site

Elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs come out distorted when cut by hand on site, leaking air and creating noise in the line. We make them in the workshop at the right dimensions with tight seams.

  3. 3

Extending or renovating an existing duct network

You need new branches, a damaged section replaced or a fitting that matches an old duct size. We measure the existing network on site and fabricate the pieces to match what is already there.

Who it's for

  • Building a facility that needs non-standard duct sizes

We read your project drawings and fabricate all sections and fittings at exact dimensions from G90 or aluminium sheet, labelled and ready to hang the moment they reach your site.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Take measurements

A technician visits the site or you send us the drawings; we list every duct section needed, its size and the correct sheet thickness for that section.

  2. 2

    Fabricate sections and fittings

We cut, form and lock the sheet in the workshop, including all elbows, transitions, offsets and takeoffs, and each section comes out at its exact dimension.

  3. 3

    Label and prepare for delivery

We number every section and fitting against the assembly plan so the installation crew knows exactly where each piece goes, with no guessing on site.

  4. 4

    Deliver to site

We deliver the duct to your Jeddah site protected and ready to hang. If you need an installation crew, we can arrange that as a separate step.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.

What sets this district apart

Quwaizah is a rapidly expanding modern district with spacious villas and multi-storey apartment blocks with advanced architectural design and regular ceiling cavities. Central ductwork needs high measurement precision because the buildings are nearly uniform in design, and on-site cutting risks leaks and inefficiency, whereas workshop fabrication delivers controlled joints and standard transitions.

Quwaizah is in south Jeddah, a modern district of spacious villas and tall apartment blocks with uniform architectural design.

Most modern villas and apartment blocks in Quwaizah use rectangular ductwork running through regular and uniform ceiling cavities.

The AC setup in Quwaizah

  1. 1

Standard rectangular duct for large systems

Most villas and apartment blocks in Quwaizah use standard rectangular duct in consistent dimensions.

  2. 2

    Standard transitions and elbows

Uniform designs allow standard transitions and elbows that are easy to install and adjust.

  3. 3

    Zero-leak duct at joints

Workshop-fabricated duct arrives with completely sealed joints with no gaps or air loss.

Before the visit

Send architectural drawings or exact measurements in metres of ceiling and wall spaces via WhatsApp.

  2. 2

Confirm cavities are ready for measurement and installation

Make sure ceiling cavities and drywall spaces are clear and ready before the visit day.

FAQ

Questions about Duct fabrication

Can you fabricate from drawings without visiting the site?

Yes, when the drawings are clear and carry the actual as-built dimensions. If a dimension is uncertain or a field change has been made, we prefer a site visit to avoid a fabricated piece that does not fit. We discuss the better approach with you before starting work.

What is the difference between galvanized and aluminium sheet for duct?

G90 galvanized sheet is the standard choice for interior duct: strong and suited to a range of pressures. Aluminium is lighter and handles Jeddah's coastal humidity and salt air better, making it right for some exposed applications or where structural load is a limiting factor. The correct choice depends on the site.

Can you make elbows and transitions to match an existing duct network?

Yes. We measure the existing network on site to match sizes precisely, whether you need a new branch added, a damaged fitting replaced or an extension tied into the original ductwork. The right approach is confirmed after the site visit.

How do you choose sheet thickness for each section?

Thickness follows section size: a large duct needs heavier sheet to hold its shape under pressure, a small one can use lighter material. We apply the SMACNA requirements to each section in the project individually, not a single thickness across the whole job.

Does Jeddah's humidity and salt air affect which sheet material to use?

Yes, particularly for sections exposed to outdoor air or installed near fresh-air intakes. G90 galvanized sheet performs well inside the building, but aluminium is the better choice where duct is in continuous contact with Jeddah's humid, salt-laden air. The site survey determines the right material for each section.

Ceiling cavities in Quwaizah are nearly uniform, does that ease fabrication?

Yes, uniform designs let us understand the cavities quickly and fabricate high-standard duct with very high precision.

Tall apartment blocks in Quwaizah need very long duct runs, can you fabricate and deliver?

Yes, we fabricate duct in long runs and deliver it in a covered truck, with the team assisting in unloading and on-site installation.

Quwaizah is extremely hot, does fabricated duct keep the air cool?

Yes, galvanized and aluminium sheet resist intense heat, and the sealed joints trap cool air efficiently with no loss.

How do we ensure duct pieces will fit together during installation?

We measure the site precisely and fabricate each piece to exact spec, so every component arrives perfectly matched to measurements.
