When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|

| Condensate | Dedicated line away from stock | Risk of drips on shelves |
| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Al Ammariyah is a relatively new growth area with modern buildings, large glazed facades and turnkey malls and retail. The wide glass fronts let in heavy sun and heat, so the system needs high cooling capacity and precise humidity control. New buildings here are typically designed with central or modern systems, and maintenance is easier because roof and technical area access is good. However, modern systems are complex and need technicians trained in electronic controls and advanced sensors.
Al Ammariyah sits in modern central Jeddah, a zone of contemporary buildings, glazed facades and modern retail on regular wide streets.
Most modern malls and shops in Al Ammariyah have smart central HVAC systems with humidity and temperature sensors and programmable controls.
The AC setup in Al Ammariyah
- 1
Smart central HVAC with programmable controls
Modern buildings in Al Ammariyah come with advanced central systems with automatic scheduling for on/off and air distribution across zones.
- 2
Distributed temperature and humidity sensors
Modern systems use sensors placed in different shop zones to measure heat and humidity and adjust cooling automatically.
- 3
Outdoor units on safe roofs with sound insulation
Roofs in Al Ammariyah are spacious and safe, and outdoor units are mounted with sound damping to prevent noise on the street and in neighbouring shops.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Ammariyah

Send shop layout and current system diagrams
A shop layout and roof diagram help us understand system size needs and technical spaces before the visit.
- 2
Tell us about any existing smart systems
If you have a smart control or building app, tell us its name and model so we can ensure compatibility and correct programming.
- 3
Confirm access to the technical room
The shop may have a technical room or closet housing the indoor units. Confirm the door is unlocked or get a key before the visit day.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
My shop has a large glass frontage, is my current AC enough?
Large glass fronts absorb intense heat, especially at midday. We measure the actual thermal load on site and calculate the right capacity. You may need more power than your shop size alone suggests.
Al Ammariyah's streets are wide but traffic is heavy, how do you bring heavy equipment?
Al Ammariyah's wide streets and regular layout make access easy. We bring heavy equipment without trouble and park it in designated spots, coordinating with complex management if needed.
My new shop has a smart thermostat, can you programme it for me?
Yes, we programme smart controls to suit your shop's needs and operating hours. We train you on the app and remote access if it is supported.
My modern system has humidity sensors, how does it keep humidity low for goods?
Sensors monitor humidity and automatically increase dehumidification as needed. We set the target humidity level to match your goods (clothing, electronics, food) and test it after commissioning.
