When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?

| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Al Sulaimaniyah is a vibrant commercial zone with diverse shops and popular markets, flats built above, and limited outdoor space shared between multiple shops in one building. These shops rely on split or small central units with good door and window sealing essential, as hot air seeps in easily on narrow streets. Maintenance and cleaning must happen during closed hours to avoid disrupting traders and shoppers.
Al Sulaimaniyah is in central Jeddah, a dense commercial zone of individual shops and popular markets surrounded by multi-storey residential buildings.
Most shops here run single split units or simple central systems with limited outdoor space on shared roofs or balconies.
The AC setup in Al Sulaimaniyah
- 1
Single or dual split unit per shop
Small and mid-sized shops usually have one split unit, larger ones use two to cover the entire space.
- 2
Simple central systems for market shops
Larger shops or shared market spaces sometimes use a small central unit with simple ducts distributing air from one point.
- 3
Air curtains at shop entries
Some modern shops install air curtains at doors to reduce hot air entry from the street and maintain cooling.
Before the visit

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
My shop is on the ground floor with doors open all day, how do you keep it cool?
We install air curtains or recommend automatic door closers, and position the indoor unit to direct cold air straight toward the entrance.
The balcony I share with the next shop is very tight, how do you mount the outdoor unit?
We assess the space beforehand and usually use a sturdy metal stand or wall-mount the unit on the side, with the building owner's approval.
Does humidity from the narrow street and constant cooling lead to mould?
Yes, high humidity in popular markets speeds mould in the drain pan and ducts, which is why we clean regularly and keep the drain working properly.
My shop's old wiring, can it handle a strong AC unit?
We inspect the wiring first and may recommend a separate circuit breaker for the AC to prevent overloads and recurring faults.
