When you need a retail HVAC specialist
- 1
A new mall or shopping centre
A poor design from the start means cold zones next to stifling ones and endless tenant complaints. We study the heat load of each zone separately and choose the right unit type before the ceiling is built.
- 2
An existing shop with uneven cooling
The back of the shop is cold while the front near the door stays hot at peak hours. The cause is usually the air outlet layout or the unit size; a site survey identifies which and fixes the problem without replacing the whole system.
- 3
Condensate dripping on shelves or display
A single drip on stock or a glass display front damages the product and the shop's image. The cause is usually weak insulation, a blocked condensate line or an unlevel unit, all of which can be diagnosed and fixed in one visit.
Who it's for
Opening a new shop inside a mall
We design an independent unit for your space and install ductwork and condensate lines before finishing work so your opening is not delayed.
Ask on WhatsAppManaging an existing commercial complex
We review the existing system and set a preventive and corrective maintenance contract scheduled outside trading hours so tenants are not affected.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Site survey and loads
We visit the site and map every heat source: entrances, lighting, expected crowd density and facade orientation, then size the units correctly for each section.
- 2
Design and materials
We design the duct network in our own workshop from G90 galvanised sheet to dimensions that give even air distribution, and select units from brands we distribute such as Carrier, YORK and Gree.
- 3
Installation coordinated on site
We coordinate installation with the project programme so ductwork does not delay finishing trades, and run Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints to reduce potential leak points.
- 4
Start-up and maintenance contract
We start up the system and check air distribution in every section, then set a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule timed so work never overlaps with the shop's trading hours.
Designed for the space or just fitted?

| Condensate | Dedicated line away from stock | Risk of drips on shelves |
| Maintenance | Scheduled outside shop hours | Surprise outage during trade |
| Copper purity | Mueller copper, 99% pure, no welds | Unspecified pipe source |

What sets this district apart
Dhahban is a coastal district in the far north with small commercial complexes and diverse shops in modern buildings but close to sea and salt. Very high coastal humidity speeds coil, pipe and wheel corrosion and encourages mould growth in ducts and distribution boxes. Frequent coil, duct and filter maintenance is essential, and using dehumidifiers and specialist filters extends system life. Coordinating with complex management on maintenance dates and workforce protects business operations.
Dhahban sits in far-north coastal Jeddah, a coastal commercial district with small complexes close to sea and salt.
Most shops use split or ceiling units because of limited space and need specialist filters to resist salt corrosion.
The AC setup in Dhahban
- 1
Salt-resistant split units
Coastal shops use split units from brands protected against rust and salt.
- 2
Central dehumidifier unit
Some complexes add a separate dehumidifier running alongside the AC to control excess moisture from the sea.
- 3
Antimould and salt-resistant filters
Specialist filters with antimicrobial materials resist mould and bacteria and protect against salt damage.

FAQ
Questions about Mall & retail HVAC
How do you handle doors that open onto the street all day?
An open door pushes in hot humid air and spikes the heat load suddenly. We include that load in the design and direct a supply outlet above the entrance to form an air barrier that reduces mixing. The survey confirms which arrangement suits each specific doorway.
Do you install separate units for each mall tenant?
Yes. A separate unit per tenant means each shop controls its own cooling and a fault in one unit does not affect the neighbour. It also makes consumption readings straightforward and makes maintenance responsibility clear for each party.
Why do you prefer rooftop packaged units for malls?
A rooftop packaged unit keeps the condenser and evaporator in one casing above the roof, freeing every inch of shop floor from outdoor units and shortening the duct run. Maintenance happens on the roof without entering the shop, which fits scheduling work outside trading hours.
How do you handle Jeddah's heat and its effect on rooftop units?
Rooftop units in Jeddah work in hot, salty and dusty air that strains the condenser and speeds fin corrosion. We specify units with corrosion-resistant coatings and include coil cleaning and compressor and condenser checks in the preventive schedule of every maintenance contract.
Does air distribution design differ between a small shop and a large mall?
The site survey decides. A small shop may need only a concealed unit with directional grilles, while a mall requires a duct network with dampers zoned by area. In both cases the positions of lighting, visitor traffic and entry doors are recorded before supply outlets are placed.
Sea salt air corrodes AC units quickly; is there a solution?
Yes, we use specialist salt-resistant filters and clean coils and pipes frequently. Choosing units made of corrosion-resistant materials extends life significantly.
High coastal humidity brings condensation into the shop; how do we control it?
A correctly sized AC system plus an additional dehumidifier removes excess moisture. Regular coil and duct maintenance keeps dehumidifying power steady.
Mould grows quickly in ducts and vents; what stops it?
Coastal humidity encourages mould. Complete duct cleaning every six months and specialist antimould filters are essential. We use antimicrobial treatments when needed.
New shop near the beach; what AC system works best?
High-quality split systems from salt-resistant brands like Carrier or YORK outperform standard units. We assess the site and recommend the best option for the coastal environment.
