When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Buddur is a modern residential area mixing villas and apartment blocks with better urban planning and larger gaps between buildings than some other areas. This offers more flexibility in siting outdoor units and routing copper without the complexity of very close neighbour coordination. The hot, dry climate and sandy soil may affect external paths, but modern buildings here typically have good drainage and strong foundations. We focus on superior copper insulation and precise evacuation to reduce energy consumption.
Al Buddur lies in east Jeddah, a modern residential area mixing villas and apartment blocks with balanced urban planning.
Most units here are single or dual splits, with outdoor units typically placed on roofs or side walls away from the front facade.
The AC setup in Al Buddur
- 1
Single split in small homes
Small homes and flats typically need just one unit mounted away from direct sunlight.
- 2
Dual split in larger homes
Larger homes and villas may need one outdoor unit with two indoor units to cover multiple rooms.
- 3
Outdoor unit on safe roof clear of windblown debris
Open roofs provide excellent ventilation and protect the unit from ground-level sand and dust.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
What is the difference between single and dual splits in terms of efficiency and cost?
Single split is cheaper and simpler for one room, while dual uses one outdoor unit connected to two indoor units, which may save energy if the rooms are very close. We help you choose what suits your home layout.
Do the sand and dust in Al Buddur affect the outdoor unit?
Yes, winds carry sand and dust. We site the outdoor unit away from prevailing wind direction where possible, and recommend periodic cleaning of the vents and fans.
Can the outdoor unit go on the ground instead of the roof?
It is possible in some cases if the area is safe and away from standing water. But roofs are usually better because they provide better airflow and reduce the risk of water immersion during rains.
How often should we clean the outdoor unit of sand and dust?
Best to clean the fans and vents every two to three months in sandy areas like Al Buddur. Cleaning maintains efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
