Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Al Samer
In Al Samer, east Jeddah, split installation requires smart positioning because flats and shops sit tightly together with limited outdoor space. Alrabih's team carefully locates the outdoor unit and routes copper safely so cooling works well without leaks or noise.
- Mueller copper
- Full vacuum
- Proper drain

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

- Insulated copper, sealed wall core
- Drain line with correct fall
- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Samer is a growing district mixing medium-sized flats and commercial blocks with buildings closely positioned and small balconies. This density means the outdoor unit often goes on tight facades or limited balconies, and copper routing must avoid other wires and pipes. Eastern heat and high humidity raise cooling demand, and proper airflow around the outdoor unit is essential for steady performance. Good copper insulation and correct drainage prevent dripping onto shops or flats below.
Al Samer is in Jeddah's eastern sector, a mixed residential and commercial district with closely positioned buildings.
Most flats and shops here use one or two split units, with outdoor units mounted on balconies or narrow facades due to space constraints.
The AC setup in Al Samer
- 1
Split unit mounted on balcony or narrow facade
Closely built flats need a compact outdoor unit on a balcony or exterior wall.
- 2
Drainage angled away from neighbouring properties
Drainage is carefully extended away from neighbouring shops and flats to prevent dripping.
- 3
Strongly insulated copper against humidity
Damp areas demand high-grade copper insulation to prevent rust and mould.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
Our balcony is tiny, can the outdoor unit still go there?
Yes, but we first check that the balcony can bear the weight and vibration. If the balcony is weak, we find a safer alternative like an exterior wall or a protected corner.
There's a shop directly below our balcony, will drainage drip on it?
No, we slope the drainage correctly and extend it away from the balcony edge, and we may add extra piping to safely direct water away from shops below.
The facade is packed with wires and other pipes, how do you avoid hitting them?
We inspect the facade carefully before installation and ask the flat or shop owner to point out any critical pipes or wires. We route copper safely to avoid putting anything at risk.
Humidity is high in Al Samer, does this affect unit installation?
High humidity speeds rust on metals and mould growth, so we choose high-grade equipment and ensure strong copper insulation. During later maintenance, drain cleaning becomes more critical to prevent blockage.
