Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Al Nuzha
Split AC installation in Al Nuzha, central Jeddah, requires precision in the copper runs and drainage, especially in the villas and flats that prefer split units. Alrabih's team places both the indoor and outdoor units carefully, vacuums the refrigerant line before start-up, and ensures quiet, drip-free cooling from day one.
- Mueller copper
- Full vacuum
- Proper drain

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Nuzha is a residential district mixing spacious villas with mid-rise apartment blocks, separated by gardens and open areas. This layout offers flexibility for running copper lines and positioning outdoor units, but the variety in building sizes and electrical systems means each installation needs a separate study to choose the best cable route and ensure the outdoor unit sits securely on the different wall types and roof structures.
Al Nuzha lies in central Jeddah, mixing villas and residential blocks with green spaces between buildings.
Most split installations in Al Nuzha need moderate copper runs from the outdoor to the indoor unit, with outdoor units mounted on villa and flat walls or balconies.
The AC setup in Al Nuzha
- 1
One split unit per room or zone
Villas and flats in Al Nuzha typically need one split unit per bedroom or living area to balance cooling across the space.
- 2
Moderate copper runs between units
The moderate distances between indoor and outdoor units in most residential buildings here reduce energy loss and make later cleaning and servicing easier.
- 3
Outdoor units on walls and roof structures
Villas and blocks allow outdoor units to be mounted on side walls or roof areas, depending on space availability and drainage ease.
Before the visit
Before our visit in Al Nuzha
- 1
Decide on the indoor unit location first
Choose your preferred wall or corner for the indoor unit before we visit, since that determines the copper route and outdoor unit placement.
- 2
Ensure the roof or exterior wall is easily accessible
If you plan to mount the outdoor unit on the roof, make sure the team can reach it safely and there is a clear cable route from there to the indoor spot.
- 3
Tell us about existing wiring and pipes
If there are water pipes or electrical wiring near the planned cable route, let us know before we visit so we can avoid any conflicts.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
How do you choose where to put the outdoor unit in larger villas?
We study the indoor unit's location and the copper run route first, since the shortest line and best airflow around the outdoor unit ensure efficient cooling and lower running costs.
Do the gardens and open spaces here give you more room to work?
Yes, the open spaces between villas and blocks make it easier for the team and equipment to move in, and give us more options to mount the outdoor unit away from main walls.
Does Al Nuzha's humidity affect the efficiency of a new split unit?
The moderate humidity in Al Nuzha does not affect performance if the refrigerant line is properly vacuumed before start-up, which keeps the unit free of internal moisture.
Roofs and walls here vary widely, does that affect mounting the outdoor unit?
Materials and heights do vary, so we inspect the location before installation to ensure the outdoor unit is mounted securely and all wires and pipes are tensioned so they do not move or fall.
